I'd like to share this website because I think it's an awesome resource to see different types of nurseries done to get inspiration from. You can search by style, colors, boy, girl, for twins, etc....
HGTV Rate My Space

I absolutely love this nursery even though I'm not a Beatles fan. I love the color of the walls and the stripes. I love the black "scrolls" on the walls. I've seen lots of black and white nurseries with accents of fuschia, lime green, purple, and/or blue. I love the look, so I'm thinking I will go with it!

I also saw this twin nursery where the Mom split the nursery into two for her b/g twins. (She said she already had 3 boys, so with the one girl she was getting it was important for her to have a Pink Space. But, it was also important for her twin son to fit into the room.)

Now, I don't like how the colors are literally split down the wall. I think what I would like to do is to paint two walls one color and two walls another color - and have the black and white bedding. I think I'd like to go with purple and turquiose for g/g twins or bold blue and lime green for b/b twins. That way the room goes all together but each twin would have their "own" color.

They put a lot of thought (and work) into those rooms, I bet they loved the end result.

Thanks for sharing!!! I was thinking of splitting the room like that if we have a girl... DS has to share his room, and he is VERY EXCITED!!! BUT DH won't let me paint a room like that

ours will be jungle.. most likely, boy or girl.. the baby will be sharing a room with my son.. right now his room is all spongebob.. but i already have girls bedding that is jungle like.. and i have the perfect boy bedding for my son to have.. and if its a boy ill just buy another boys bedding and the boys will both have the same bedding..

i like the jungle theme bc i like how its fun and playful.. i do LOVE modern types of rooms.. like that purple one.. but im not huge on girly like rooms.. which is why i have the jungle type bedding for a girl.. it wasnt really girly but it was still girly enough if that makes sense LOL

heres the girl bedding i already have.. here is the boys bedding ill get to match:
its a total of 10 pieces! (the lamp and mobile are not included)

boys jungle:

i think they match really well.. obviously with the boys for my son now since hes in a toddler bed he will just need the bedding (this is also a 10 piece) i would just need the comforter, sheets and dust ruffle..

but im almost wondering if i have a boy this time.. if i just make theirs both be sailboats.. i LOVE sailboats for baby boys!

Oh, I love the jungle theme too. That's what we did in DS's nursery.

I love that girl's jungle set - the colors and the koalas!

I'd definitely check out that site for Sailboat themes. I've seen some good ones on there!

this same company has sailboats too.. they also have a Whales theme which i also love.. i just love underwater themes for boys! plus im orig from Newport Beach CA, when my mom moved us to AZ.. she took Newport with her haha her house is FILLED with ocean themed stuff.. hunters nursery was sailboats as well.. here was his nursery:

LOL speaking of, while i was searching for the nursery photos in photobucket, i found photos of my moms place in there as well LOL so OT, please dont mind me!

this is my moms couch, and hunter when he was about 2 months old i think, this photo was for a photo contest in his PR (that anchor hangs up above the kitchen, youll see it in the photo above)

my moms living room table.. it has LIVE hermit crabs in it.. it now has sand in there instead.. (it was being cleaned out when i took this photo)

there is more from the house but i dont want to overkill
this only tells me more that maybe my mom and i have a serious addiction and we might need intervention to step in

maybe the sailboats will be a no LOL.. or any water themed nursery.. something new is good LOL

ETA - and yes, the carpet is blue, while the tile is a sand color.. yeah.. obsession much

Oh, that was an adorable nursery theme! Didn't you hate to see it go? Bella is 4 years old and still have not redone her room.

That's a cute picture of Hunter as well.

Yes, I love that damask print (it's what's in the black and white bedding in the first picture). It's so elegant and sharp looking.

I went with some babyish themes for the first two, so I want to do something a little different this time around.
