Hey guys

I saw the invite to the Facebook group, but I don't feel like I can join... I just wanna put it out there on here.

I treasure my privacy on this site and it's the one place I come and talk without the family knowing anything... I feel that if I join the group, it's so public that my family (mainly in-laws) will be able to see so much *because it's a public forum, not a private one*...
Just wanted to let you guys know...

Oh I feel the same way! I saw the invite but I don't want everyone to see that I've joined the group and then scout us out here and read my stuff. Not that I have anything to hide but still....

We could always make the group private on facebook, that's not a big deal.

And it's okay if you don't want to join, it was just made for those that would like to. Totally up to you!

it is private! i joined ... but then again, i'm officially out ... not facebook out yet but out to everyone that matters (phone calls && etc.) soooooo yeah! lol ...

And for those of you worried about privacy....the group is private and closed......meaning only our members can see the content and members must be approved before joining.
So none of your family/friends will be able to see what you post there or what any one else posts there.

I think part of the concern is that people will see that they are members of this board online, seek it out and be able to see them on JM, not just what is on the group on Facebook? I don't really care either way, I don't know of anyone who would go to that much trouble of my FB friends and I don't think any of them are that nosey anyway Also, I am totally out

I joined the group but then went to my profile and deleted the notice that I had joined the group so that no one would come on JM and "cyber-stalk" lol...Not that I think any of my friends would do that...but it just makes me feel better.

I think it's great for those who are willing to do this.
I personally don't befriend anyone I don't know IRL well. I also don't join groups for that reason. Make sense since DH is military. I'm very careful about what I post online about him and his info. If it's not publicly released knowledge, I don't post it.

I had to leave it sorry girls. I asked my DB and he said he would not put it past his mother to start snooping around on the forums and trying to find out which one is me and try to see what sex the baby is (Cause we aren't telling) and to see what else I have written on there. I don't want anymore drama with her.

I am not on the group but if anyone adds me to FB, please let me know you are from JM. I ignore invites that I have no clear clue who they are from.

All of my ultrasound pics and etc. are located on my FB as far as keeping up with me wise.

Ahh, see, when I was sent the invite, it was an "open" group, now its closed. So that makes a big difference!
