I know a LOT of people believe this...
What is your baby's gender, what is his/her hb? Also what about your other children? My baby seems to be in the 150-160 range and that seems to say girl, if you believe in that, but my gut keeps saying boy?! IDK...

that old wives tale seemed 2 work 4 me. My DS heartrate ws in the 140's and he was a boy, my DD was in the 160's..girl. This one is always int he 140's and its a boy!

My two girls HB's were always lower. This baby's has been 175 or so, but we don't know what we're having yet.

It didn't work for me BUT my DD's was higher than my son's. My son was around 150, and DD was 170-180.

Both of my boys always had a HR above 140- normally 150's... this bean (GIRL!!! ) stays around the 150's -160's

I was just coming to ask the same question. This bay is in the mid 150's every time I listen, the doctor or u/s. We don't know the gender - yet (thinking about finding out, dh isn't saying if he wants to or not yet)
We did not find out the gender before birth for our 4:
With our daughters: #1 hb was higher, like 160's, #2 was a little lower, maybe 150's don't remember for sure but I remember not being convinced that it was another girl. #3 was in 140's and was a boy. #4 was 150-160's and was a girl.

My DS always had a high heartrate... in like the 160s.. this one was in the 160s last time so who knows!!

My ds heart beat was always around 140. This baby has been around 160 maybe it's a girl!

DS was in the 140-160 range....have no clue what this one's heart rate is at all- should hopefully find out in Thursday at my appt and then find out the gender on May 8! so we'll see!

My sons HB was always between 142-147 all throughout my pregnancy. This time baby seems to be 148-155 and we don't know what we're having yet. SOON!!!!!

The last couple of appointments the little monster has been right about 155, but we won't find out gender til May 21st...

this babys hb is always in ranging from 152-160. Avry was high at first then was in the 140s & he is of course a boy lol! i don't know what we're having yet and won't find out until end of May. :-(

My oldest son was always in the 160s... he's very much a boy...
My youngest was always in the 140s or 150.... still a boy...

The heart rate myth has not been proven for my two little ones. My son was in the 160's and this one is in the 140's or 150's. Pretty much about the same rate.

According to the wives tale this should be a girl - HB at 6 weeks was 160 and just last week it was 166. We'll know in 3 weeks!!!

this one seems to run 150 or so most of time. some days faster. so "should" be girl.. dunno.. 5 wks or so til we find out

im not sure what im having this time, yet.
but with my son he was always 140-150
this baby is high 150s low 160s
so im hoping girl!!!!

I say that in the 150's its still 50/50 bc my son was 140-150 all the time
This time the 1st HB @ 10w was 182
12w was in the 160's
and 16w was 160-170
I have a good friend that has had 4 and she is a firm beliver in this theory and she swears im having a girl so we will see in 2 weeks!
