Thought we were out of the woods...ER the other night, horrible pain and then he felt better. ER doc said it's in his bladder and surgery will probably be canceled...well, not so much.

Called his doc yesterday, and he's still keeping the surgery scheduled until it actually comes out! ugghhh

Yuck-- hope he is feeling better. I posted yesterday. They SUCK! Hope it works its way out soon so surgery isn't necessary. When is it scheduled for?

Ugh I dont even wish a kidney stone on my worst enemy! I was admitted to the hospital for 12 days before I got pregnant with Nate for them. It was HORRIBLE. Worse than when I was in labor with nick! I hope he passes it soon before surgery!

Hope it passes soon! I've never had any but I have heard that the pain is terrible!

doc looked at ER films and they're clean!!!! Stone is GONE! surgery tomorrow: CANCELED!!!!!!!!

I guess the painful part is the stone entering the bladder. The tube/duct narrows right before it empties into the bladder, so that is super painful. Once it's in the bladder, depending on its size and your pee stream (tmi) you can pass it without knowing.

Dh made some crude joke about have a large shaft so he didn't feel it come out! LOL!!!! Then I reminded him of how he was rolling around on the floor begging me to call 911!
