I am starting this, not because I think I eat unhealthily or too much...but because I am looking for certain dietary changes over the past several months to help me out with my health and would love to be able to look back and say THAT's when I started feeling better, when I ate a lot of ______.

And I just love food and want to be part of the food diary club!

June 27:

Breakfast:

Rice Krispies with almond milk and one piece of rice-flour toast with cherry jam.

Lunch:

Grilled chicken, mushroom risotto and red romaine salad.

Snack:

Carrots and hummus.

Dinner:

Leftover grilled chicken on corn tortillas with avocado, tomato and lettuce. Tortilla Chips with Salsa. Strawberry Banana smoothie.


Dessert:
Chocolate Chex with almond milk.

July 1:

Breakfast: Rice Krispies with almond milk, 1/2 a banana

Lunch: Tortilla chips and hummus, corn tortillas with chicken, lettuce, brown rice, tomato and avocado

Snack: TJ's organic trail mix

Dinner: Grilled chicken sandwich with feta cheese and cherry butter

Dessert: Chocolate mousse

I picked some up at a local cherry orchard...it's sort of like cherry jam mixed with peanut butter as far as consistency...but it's addicting! I spread it on crackers, sandwiches, or just dip whatever I can find in it, lol. I've never seen it at a grocery store, but we have a lot of cherry orchards here in Michigan so it's pretty easy to come by...and cherries are in season right now, yumm!

Omg! You have cherry butter?! I ought to make a paypal and pay you to buy me some and ship it! I have a love of "butters". I have pumpkin butter, apple butter, fig butter and almond butter. Yummmmmmm

Kaija's favorite breakfast might just be apple butter on waffles!

I'm not a huge cherry fan, but sometimes TC cherries are soooo gooood!

Mylene- We used to go to the cherry festival in Traverse every year! Delicious stuff...

HelloLove - You have to check out Cherry Republic They have amazing butters all year round I also love the pepper jelly, it's incredible.

Okay, food intake for July 6:


Breakfast: Pancakes and maple syrup


Lunch Corn tortillas with avocado, etc...(I've been sort of obsessed lately)


Dinner: Lime garlic grilled chicken, grilled onion with white wine, lentils and rice.

Dessert: Scotcharoo!

I also want to start adding my supplement regiment here. I take 2 T. of apple cider vinegar and 3,000 mg fish oil daily.
