Well, I'm up late working on my column which means I won't be up early! Anyhow, wanted to get this thread up, so you all can post numbers for our second to last weigh-in of the challenge!

I'm so proud of each of you for all the hard work you've put in thus far. Whether or not the scale shows it, I know and you know that we have worked hard the last 9 weeks! And that is something to be proud of! As we approach this final week of the challenge, let's finish strong! That way we can hold our heads high knowing we've given it our all.

All the best on tomorrow's weigh-in, ladies!

Starting Weight: 141.4
Last Week's Weight: 135.4
Today's Weight: 136.4

Up a lb. I'm sorry ladies. I definitely wasn't 100% this week but I by no means "earned" a lb. I also wasn't able to work out as much because it was really, and we have no AC. I ran on Sunday and felt like I was going to throw up! The high is supposed to be a lovely 75 today though, so I'm running at work! I'm actually looking forward to it. If I only take a measly 5 lb weight loss in 10 whole weeks, at least I'm taking the knowledge that I CAN run every other day and even kind of enjoy it!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH back up a pound and yeah I know I was not accountable at all since our friend is here so we are eating more junk than normal and not getting enough sleep either I am also getting some depression which I hope goes away on it's own as I really don't want to go on any meds right now! blah.
Will try harder this last week but our friend is here until July 8th so it is gonna be hard.

Tasha, I feel ya on the hot weather..it is making it too hard to do anything outdoors. So glad you are enjoying running though. And I think you have a great idea to train for an event.

Steph, I'm so sorry to hear that depression may be rearing its ugly head. If you've battled with it before, you may know some steps to take to be proactive so it doesn't get worse. I hope you'll do what's best for yourself and care for you.

Amanda, congrats on another great loss! You seem to consistently be going in the right direction, so kudos. Any secrets?

Next week, may be tricky for me too. Our anniversary is the fifth and I know hubby is planning a little getaway. I want to finish strong, but I also want to enjoy the time with him. But then Thursday is my birthday, so whatever weight loss and fitness improvement I've had by the end of the ten weeks will be a nice little gift to myself.

Great job Amanda!! And Catherine! Steph, I'm sorry you're struggling with depression. I hope you're able to get some help before it gets too bad.

The next couple of weeks are going to be HARD. I think it might be more realistic for me to focus on maintaining until we move... which really would mean I should keep trying to lose weight since that's what I've been doing and I've really just been maintaining! We're saying bye to all of our friends so we have people we're doing dinner with... Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday this weekend, Thursday, Friday, Saturday next weekend... my bday is the next Friday, the 16th, and then we move Saturday the 17th! Crazy!!

thanks ladies...just having a few rough days of wanting to be a SAHM so badly but that is not happening so I need to deal with it! I think lack of sleep is also not helping....I am so the type that needs OVER 8 hours a night LMAO....

I am sticking to WW though and going to be more diligent about logging those points! I know most days I am def not eating enough which I think is putting my nursing body into plateau mode! So I am going to vow to be more accountable and keep on working it right and I know eventually the pounds WILL fall off!

Great job to Catherine and Amanda you ladies rock!!!!

Tasha you have a lot on your plate so just try and make healthiest choices you can and don't beat yourself up if you slip with all that out to eat as I struggle big time on making healthy choices when I go out!

I have a really good feeling about this week. I think my body is trying to make up for gaining that pound that one week. I'm down again. I doubt I'll be able to get to my goal, since that would me like a 6lb loss in one week... But I'm already down close to two lbs in two days.... So we'll see how close I can get.

So proud of you, Amanda! You are on a roll! Even if you don't make it all the way to your goal you will have made it far! You should be proud of yourself. This is going to be a rough week for me. I'm trying to make smart choices, but between celebrating the fourth, then our anniversary and then my birthday...

But I did do my Jillian Michael's video today and it felt really good. I'm happy to say that I'm getting to that point where when I don't exercise I miss that good feeling you get afterwards. And we have to hang out with my MIL tomorrow so I suggested we all go for a walk, instead of just meeting for eating. And we are, so that's a good thing too.

Great job Amanda, that's awesome! I really hope you have a big loss this week, you're working so hard!

Catherine, that's great that you're looking forward to that finished-working-out feeling and that you suggested doing something active instead of just eating with family. Way to go!

How's everyone doing? I was still down to 187 this morning, despite getting AF back yesterday. I'm stoked!

Amanda I told you that you would pass me LMAO! I am up right now and see myself being around 189 again tomorrow if not 190 grrrrrrrrrrr but I know why (too much out to eat with the friend here). But that is ok as I know what to do and our friend leaves Saturday. I am putting my couch to 5k program on mp3 player and WILL start it this weekend! I plan to rock the 2nd weight loss challenge! I NEED to be 170 (or under) by end of September dang it!!!!

Way to go, Amanda! You are doing awesome. And Steph, I'm sure once the guests hit the road, you'll get back on track.

I have no idea what we'll see tomorrow. I was down 2.5 pounds as of Saturday afternoon, but we ate out Saturday to celebrate my birthday a little early and yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. I have been hitting the workouts very hard though to make up for it--burned 700 calories yesterday before 7:30 am and another 670 on Sunday before 8:30 am! I haven't worked out today because we went away for our anniversary night last night, but I'm going to try to work out tonight before bed-time. If I do, I will have worked out every day this week--which I never do because I usually take at least one rest day. I was so stoked on Saturday to see down 2.5 since I only need 3 more pounds to make my goal--so I wanted to push it a little extra hard this week. But I totally wouldn't be surprised if that loss is gone with the rich food both Saturday night and last night. We'll see!
