weigh myself everyday but the scale is right in front of the toilet so I can't help but hop on after my morning pee. I'm so upset today! Yesterday I was 128.5 and today I'm 130 even. I wasn't expecting a drop in my weight but I wasn't expecting weight gain. I ate 6 small meals and worked out a bit yesterday...why would I gain weight?

I'm going to have to agree with you that you should not weigh yourself every day. Our weight will fluctuate, and a pound or two difference could drive you crazy but not mean anything!

I don't know about you, but daily weighing and obsessing over a small bit of gain from one day to the next would lead me down a very negative path. So don't do that to yourself! If you're eating small healthy meals and exercising, that's what you need to focus on.

I know you're right. I have so much bad stuff going on in my life right now that I just want my weight loss to go good. I need for one thing to go right *sigh*

I totally agree with Racine! For me, if I weigh myself every day, I obsess way too much, and I end up becoming unhealthy and/or depressed. Try a weekly weight check instead, or even monthly. That way, you can track a slow, steady weightloss without driving yourself crazy. If you want the weight to stay off, then you shouldn't be losing more than 1-2 lbs a week, so if you check everyday you're not really going to be able to see that, anyway!

Don't weigh everyday!! It could have just been extra water, or maybe you had a BM still in your intestine and you didn't when you weight yesterday.. it could be so many things. Definitely don't let it get you down.

I'm going to have to not use that bathroom (even though it's the easiest one for me to use). I weigh myself EVERY time I go. I did do a BM earlier and my weight dropped down to 129. Guess I was full of ***** lol

I have body image issues and I really don't go by the scale when it comes to how I look. I just happen to know that when i'm around 115-118lbs, I like how I look, so I weigh myself to see how far I am from being happy with my body. If there's a scale around I WILL weigh myself. It's just a bad habit I have.
