So, I know i'm pretty far ahead of the game here, but with my MIL and my parents coming into town last week, I really wanted to have it done for them. My MIL won't be able to come back to visit until a while after the baby is born, so it was really important to me to have it done for her. She's super sweet
All of the wall hangings are homemade. I used a nice veneer and some quit batting to wrap the fabric around to give them the plush look. I didn't want to go too overboard because it'd just be more to undo when we move in 2 years. The fabric is actually from a cloth book!
and don't worry, the hamster was only in the room temporarily. He's normally in the guest room, but when he runs on the wheel, he can really keep you awake, and I wanted our guests to get some decent sleep
That is so cute!! I absolutely love the wall hangings. I'm actually trying to convince dh to let us start moving around things because i'm ready to put furniture together and set things up.
that is so cute. What is the book you used. It is super cute.
It was the Jungle Babies series at WalMart. Almost like Jingle babies! The quilt wall hanging is one of the companion fabrics. It can actually be taken off the wall and used as a blanket! I had help with that. My friend took me to the quilt shop and she added a few touches to the quilt.
wow i feel rly far behind now. lol. But I still love everything you've done to the room. I rly like the animals it's actually what I want on the walls for the babys room too and if it's a girl all pink stuff and butterflies and flowers and if it's a boy then it'll be firetrucks and animals. I think it'll be cute either way. lol I still like yours it's very creative.. Wish I had the know how to do stuff like that. It's totally awesome. I realy like it.
It's great!! I love everything - especially the blanket! I just sent an email to DH with the pic of the blanket and a note saying "it is YOUR job to find this blanket! Now go and do it!"
The whole room is amazing. Nicely done. Your little one will feel so loved in that room!
