After looking at my HUGE list and realizing I may actually have 6-7 weeks to go, I had a LONG talk with myself that I am human, I am working up to and THROUGH the birth and everything, and I am not perfect...

So I am not going to stress about getting everything on my list done. Not gonna do it.

I'm hiring a professional service to steam clean our carpets.

I'm hiring a group of cleaning ladies to come and do all the tiny, little things I rarely get to do because of my schedule, at least once, between now and when baby gets here.

I'm getting all my appointments done (dermatologist, teeth cleaned) as after baby's here, it would be impossible.

I'm still working from home and making good money, so that won't end.

DH and I are going to try to sell some of the bulky items we have downstairs (inversion machine, 2nd couch, his motorcycle) to make more room (it drives me INSANE going down there) and I'll be happy to clean or organize when it's all gone.

I'm just not going to stress about it. I realized this is my last 6-7 weeks of only having 1 kiddo. We're going to play. I'm going to work. I'm going to sleeeeeep to my heart's content. I'm not going to worry about cooking. I'm just not going to stress anymore!

That sounds like a WONDERFUL plan, Gwynne!! I think enjoying these last few weeks is a great idea And hiring people to do some of the things that you would like done...perfect! Then you won't be worrying about all the little things. Plus, when my roommate and I looked into it, it was only a tiny bit more expensive to hire professionals to clean our carpets than it was to rent a steam cleaner ourselves, and the professionals did 100 times better than we did on our own

Yep, I should squeeze that in, Nicole One of Beck's recommended readings on our founding fathers, probably (and I have sooo much research to do for work... I have got to pace myself!)

Good idea Gwynne, you deserve some nice "ME-time" and "KENSLEY-time" before Kellen arrives into this world
