How are you getting back into it. Im scared that it will hurt since my C section but I need to get back into it. Its been nearly 10 weeks!!! Help!
Give me some motivation.. I'd love to shave some inches off my thighs and really tone up before I start REALLY working out!

Below is my weightloss ticker. This is not for the pregnancy weight to come off as it has pretty much all came off. The rest of it is just what I've been wanting to loose for a while now to get back to my healthier weight!

I wouldn't consider myself a runner but At 6 weeks pp, I tried to jog and I could feel my incision pulling. It wasn't painful or anything but it still scared me so I stopped. I just downloaded the couch to 5k app on my phone so starting Monday I'm going to try it. It's a pretty slow progression so hopefully it'll be good for the incision.

The first jog felt weird at 6 weeks pp, but it didn't hurt me. I have jogged one other time and it felt fine (just outta shape! ). Just take it easy and listen to your body.

I was an avid runner before I got pregnant, so I am super anxious to start up again. I havent ran yet, except for 10 seconds when I need to run back into the house to grab something (and boy did that hurt!). I'm 5 weeks PP tomorrow, so hopefully sometime within the next week or two I can try and see how it goes. I'm concerned how it will feel with my boobs though- I used to be small, but now I have these huge jugs that I have no idea how to support!

I had to wear a sports bra with a tight fitting tank with built in bra over it to help me out when I was running... It felt squished but at least they didnt hurt near as bad.

I started jogging on my treadmill last week but only lasted two minutes, in part because my boobs felt so heavy. (I was an A cup before, so I'm not used to anything bouncing around, LOL.) My maternity bras look and feel like sports bras, so that's what I wear when working out. Still isn't completely comfortable, though.

I jogged a lot before pregnancy but have never been fast. I usually did 9 or 9.5 minute miles. Don't think I'll be doing that for awhile...I'm hoping to work up to running half a mile at a time by September and a full mile by October.

i mapped out a little run trail around my neighborhood. i'm starting out by walking to the park, jogging my trail and walking back. next week i will try to jog half of the way back. the following week, the whole way. then eventually jog all the way there and eventuaully plan a longer trail. that way, i build endurance and dont wear myself out right away.
