And I offically am not allowed to return to work until after the baby is born. my back has been acting up I can hardly walk 5 feet and i'm in constant pain. With my back problems we knew it was only a matter of time, but didn't think it would happen 9.5 weeks before! I've been having contractions on top of that.. dr checked the cercvix and said they looked good and then said and i quote.. " you SHOULD make it to your next appointment" umm.. say wha?! apparently he doesn't think i'll make it to full term... just great..... I gained 1/2 pound so i'm offically up 2.5 pounds.. oh did i mention that with me not going to work, i dont get FMLA AND i don't get paid until AFTER the baby is born.. talk about stressed to the max..
and to top it off, my dad was admitted to the hospital today becuase of chest pain...
Naomi!!! I'm so sorry to hear this. Not sure why you wouldn't be able to get FMLA, though... it's not meant just for delivery (it should be for a number of medical issues), but I'm not real knowledged on it, either.
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I hope it's just extreme heartburn
Keep baby in there as long as possible, so rest up now. 9.5 weeks apparently is a long time, so just take it one day at a time and bake that little bun in the over as long as possible!

I don't get FMLA because I haven't been at my job for a year... and the Salary Continuation is only effective after the3 baby is born according to my Boss at work... so i'll just sit at home and do what i can get the baby to cook and try to not be in pain, but honestly easier said then done. i can't get comfortable in ANY position, sitting, or laying down it just hurts so bad, so on top of it i'm cranky becuase i don't get a good night sleep..
Thank you about my Dad. hopefully he can get released tomorrow, he's only 45 too young to be having this much trouble, but he's on 2 different types of blood pressure med, but my mom just ofund out he stopped tkaing them a few month ago becuase he coudln't afford to fill he Rx's
Oh no!!!!! I'm so sorry! And I'm sorry you're in so much pain!! Try to rest up mama! I'm sorry too about FMLA - i had that when i had DS - i didn't get any pay either - so i know how stressful that can be. Try to relax and keep that baby baking!!! And get as many back rubs from your hubs as you can!
