DH is letting me redo our master bedroom! It's never been properly done, we have 1 cheapy dresser from Target in there, no real furniture. I'm so excited, I'm hoping to have it totally done by the end of September, I'll be sure to share photos!

Besides the nursery what projects do you have going on?

i am kind of lucky that i get to redo all of the rooms in our house right now, we just finished the new master bedroom and will be moving in shortly. the room we are in now will become the new guest room/ office, and DH is currently laying the tile in the nursery. it is really stressfull but fun and exciting at the same time.

That's always alot of fun. I am in the middle of trying to redo our house since we moved. The baby will be in our room so I'm not really getting to do a nursery yet. Bah hum bug. Will have fun with his bed and bedding and all the baby gear though!

YAY!! How exciting!

We are getting new carpet in the next couple weeks. Remodeling our master bathroom, adding a hall closet, and adding a door f/ the bathroom to the closet that's already there. We're trying to get everything in order before we sell it. It's not as fun for me b/c I know we aren't going to be living there.

That's awesome!

We would like to put wood floors in our bedroom (we already have the wood) and tile in the master bath (whoever built the house thought carpet in the bathroom was a good idea). We haven't started on that yet. We also want to build a big dog pen in the backyard so we can regrow the grass on the dogs favorite paths

Hey me too!!!!! I am in the process of this right now! We are not getting new furniture right now.....but I made us an awesome upholstered head board (total cost was just over $100!), bought new curtains and rods, a new runner for my dresser, throw pillows for our bed, candle holders and frames. We just have to get a couple other things and hang up a couple things we already had. We moved into this house a year ago and never finished unpacking.....NEVER hung anything in our room! SO this has been exciting since we are not doing a nursery. (we are, however, getting a new changing table that will be in our room for the new baby).

Have a BLAST! So fun!!!

Katie

We are working on finishing our basement for the spring, the nursery and finishing things in our bedroom by November. I figure to to it while we have time AND the monies for it before baby comes in December!

How fun!

Before I really get to do anything I have to wait for AJ to start school. 3 weeks and a few days and counting! LOL! Once he is in school a couple days a week I will take those days to re-organize the closets and paint the baby's room. I don't think I am going to call it a nursery - it will be her room for as long as we live here. I need to find patterns and fabric for AJ's and Katie's curtains and get MIL to make them for us. I think I need to make an actual list cause this is all just in my head. LOL

Our only big project before the babies come is to install an attic above our garage.

Down the road, we'll need new carpet in the master bedroom and basement. Other than that, we're in pretty good shape around here.

We're not doing anything too big around here, just a bunch of re-organizing. We are in the process of sheet rocking our garage (something our builder didn't do) and putting up shelving so we actually have more storage space. We're hoping to get that done before October, but we'll see.

I would also like to paint the downstairs bathroom since it is still the the original white paint from the builder. DH could care less about that right now though. lol.

Yay for getting a shiny new master bedroom! How exciting!!!

How exciting - I would love to redo the soft furnishings in our bedroom.

Our big project besides the nursery is our floors. We have pulled out the carpet and DH is laying maple floors himself. We have the floors, now it is just a matter of time and $ for the rest of the materials to finish the job. We are starting in the nursery and our room first, since those are the two rooms I really want done before baby gets here.

DH also has plans for a dog pen outside and he always has at least 3 or 4 yard projects going.

Kat.
