I just don't feel like doing much of anything these days. Everything is normal with the kids and hubby but for everthing else i'm just like blah. The internet is borning, i have so many things to do such as siggys, updating my journal, building my website and posting on message board and I want to do these things but when i get ready i'm just like blah and don't want to do anything.

On a happy note we are going camping again this weekend, going to a cool park called Dino Town that is closing sept 6....it used to be called Flinstone Park. I can't wait to take the boys there...oh the memories. We hope to hit the waterslides to. Maybe I just need a break from home life.

Oh and second we have a crawler! That's right Alex is 5 months 10 days old and crawling! How crazy is that. He's 5 months going on 7 months, he's just learning and wanting to do everything so fast.

Anyways I probably won't be around much the rest of the week, I have to clean the house and pack since we are leaving Friday. Hopefully i'll be more into doing things when i get back

Sounds like you do need a break from the routine. Hopefully a little weekend fun will shake things up a bit. The waterslides are SO much fun! We went to a park last month and I had forgotten how much I liked them. And you can take Alex in the lazy river if they have one! I can't beleive he's crawling! I remember that yoga pose of his though and it looked like he wanted to just take off ~ yay Alex!

Yes, I call that the SAHM blues. I get in a rut like that sometimes, too, and it usually takes stepping out of the routine a bit to revive and reenergize me. I hope your trip does that for you! Yay Alex! Andrew is crawling, too, and holy cow, I am not liking this early mobility. Everything has to be put away becasuse he also eats things. He has eaten several papers already of the older kids'. Luckily he's not fast yet!

Yes, I have had this rut. My husband is awesome. Last night he took the baby and I went to the movies by myself. It recharged me and was much better than just watching tv at home. At home I can never just sit and watch tv when Colin naps. I'm always doing something else, laundry, internet, kniting, dishes, etc.

Can you get out and do anything by yourself?

ahh good ol' Flinstone Park/Dino Town! I remember going there waaaaaaay back in the day when I was a wee one!! Have fun!

I get in those "funks" sometimes too and just can't find the motivation to do anything except sit at home with Rachel in my arms.

And I'm not at all surprised that Alex is crawling already.......after all the things he's already been doing!

I get into the same ruts sometimes. I'm jealous that you're going camping. I hope you have fun! Yay for crawling babies...Jax has been crawling for a bit and now he is starting to get faster and faster. More work for mama.

Thanks ladies. I guess i am in a routine rut and need to get out. It's hard though, we always do the same stuff and everything i really want to do costs money. We don't have any extra so we basically stay at home a lot. We are only going camping and doing the other stuff because my dad insists on paying for us to go...and he wants to take me away again in september. I hope the few days away from home will help.
