OK, so I REALLY need to get off JM. Can you tell it's my day off? All I do is stalk our PR when I have a day off to myself, and no energy to do anything useful. DH is at the baseball game and E is in bed. The dog is in his crate sleeping by choice because apparently I'm not worth hanging around.

So here is my last post for the night (allegedly). I know I love having this PR and JM in general because I know when I am frustrated, I can just read some posts and know everyone else is going through the same thing.

I have to admit, sometimes I read things to DH just to help him with his frustrations too! He is a SAHD, but he doesn't know any other SAHDs. So when he describes something that he is finding hard, I find a post where someone also vents about the same thing and read it to him (i.e. shrieking all day long, baby screaming if you walk out of view, the staying up for hours at night, screaming for a bottle then refusing to eat). It's really been helpful to him to know that other parents are going through the same stuff.

Seriously, guys just don't talk about this stuff! If they did, they might be able to work through some of their frustrations.

But anyway, I think DH secretly says thanks! But I think he'd kill me if I read this post to him.

Awe that is sweet. I was wondering if there was a Just Daddies type thing out there for dads. I bet there are a lot of dads out there needing to vent too.

lol I read a lot of stuff to my dh too. Nothing too personal though, so no worries ladies rofl. I especially like to point out to him that contrary to his beliefs most people are NOT having sex ALL THE TIME!

Yes, for the record I never read any sensitive info...NEVER from the secrets board, never about people's personal lives, etc. I strictly stick to posts like "MY BABY NEVER SLEEPS!" and the like.

I am constantly saying "I was reading about this on the mom's board...." I bet I mention that at least 3 times a day to whoever I happen to be talking to. My hats off to any SAHD...they don't have the motherly instinct thing going for them, I am sure it's just a bit harder. At least in the beginning. I'm glad the board helps both of you!!

Apparently, I shrunk it on photobucket when I was playing around, and then accidentally put that one on my siggy! oops!

My DH tells me to come here if I'm contemplating any "big baby decision" like car seats, eating, solids, etc. So, I guess he's of the mind set that you ladies keep me calm and not venting to him all the time.
