OK I don't post much & for that I am sorry & will try & change but I have this recipe That I call "Anything Sauce" That I would love to share
1 Lb Lean ground beef/turkey/chicken/venison (what ever floats your boat)
1 med onion chopped
1 Pepper- your choice in color- chopped
1 8 oz pk chopped mushrooms
1 28 oz can- crushed or sauce - tomatoes
1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
1 bag spinach 10 oz
Brown meat- add onion, pepper, mushrooms- when meat is brown & fully cooked add tomatoes-
add any seasoning at this time-
you can add cumin & chili powder for a spicy kick-
or garlic, basil, oregano for more Italian
or Worcestershire sauce, garlic, basil, chili powder-
what ever you feel like-
when this comes to a bubble- add spinach & cover
when all wilted stir in-
serve over any kind of pasta- I like Orecchietta-(they look like ears- circles- bulk up nice)
serve over rice- literally anything or nothing- but a piece of bread on the side
This freezes great & is tasty!!
There is no right or wrong I have even added zucchini to it- carrot as well-
