He came in, asked how it was going...I said fine. I'm not initiating a conversation with a man who tells me I'm pregnant and nothing more.

But...he checked me and I actually moved up a bit...from fingertip dialated to 1-2 cms. I'm still 50% effaced and station -1 to -2, as I have been for three weeks. But to know I dialated a bit gives me hope.

With my son and daughter I was more effaced at this point...with my daughter I was more dialated, and with my son I was less dialated. But with my son, I delivered 9 days early...and tomorrow is 9 days early, I don't think I'm going to have a baby tomorrow!

I felt a little funky this morning but I went into work anyway...had a little cramping and a couple of more painful contractions, but nothing indicative of laborishness. I was fine after 30 minutes at work.

Cramping a bit more now after the exam, but again, nothing laborish.

If nothing big happens by tomorrow night...I need Jessica to hold off until Sunday afternoon for me...so her brother and sister can be there.

For my last two pregnancies, this was the last visit to the OB I got to...I have a feeling I'll be going back on Weds. But he told me as I was leaving to call before that if I needed to.

So...that's that!

Someone's gotta be last! I'll do it. I've already got two kids =)

I also wondered if he was related to Dr. Gassy Bubblehead!!! Actually my OB looks like George Costanza so to make myself laugh when I'm pushing I imagine him yelling "CALL ME T-BONE!"

In reality, he is SO SOFT SPOKEN!!!!!!!!!!!
