Ok so Ive been having contractions for so long (weeks) that Ive just gotten used to them... Mine are hard to tell because they come in more like back aches and cramps (a nurse said ill probably end up having a back labor yuck).
Either way its like im ALWAYS cramping or having tightening... so its so hard to tell...but every time they hook me up to monitors sure enough im having contractions....
well now that im like 4 days past due the problem is trying to time them because its soooo constant.
So im going crazy not knowing when I should go get checked....
Im so gonna be that lady who delivers her baby on her bathroom floor!!!!
I know its always best to go get checked and that its better safe than sorry but I cant explain to u how hard it is to tell if its really necessary to go.
People always say..."Oh u will know when its time" BUT that's not always sooo true for everyone!!
I know plenty of people who didn't really realize and by the time they got to the hossy they were like 7cm dilated lol
I know I know..."everyone and every pregnancy is different" but that also means there is a chance that I could be that one who never feels it coming!!! My pain tolerance is high beyond belief. When I was in the hospital having contractions last time the nurse was shocked that I didn't really feel them or wasn't in tons of pain...to me it was just like the norm AF cramps but maybe not even that bad!!!
I dont know Im just going crazy and its keeping me up at night lol
I totally understand! I was feeling the same way. My contractions really just show up as back cramps, too, so I was always worrying I wouldn't know I was in labor until I was pushing out a baby
If you are worried, go get checked, even if it's nothing, at least you'll know that you should be waiting for something else...if that makes any sense?
It does and im thinking I should just go...if nothing else it will help me not go any crazier!!! If it doesn't let up in the next few hours im going to make the looonnngg trip through road construction and traffic!!! yuck!!!
