This is probably the strangest thing ever to be asking..but is it weird that my boobs don't leak? Kelli's post saying hers are leaking a ton made me wonder. I seriously don't even need breast pads right now, and my milk has definitely come in. So what's my deal?

Maybe, it just made me wonder about milk supply and what not.

I don't think I am leaking but I'm not sure. I am using breast pads just in case and probably will continue for a little while longer. If I am leaking, it's very minimal. And I know my supply is fine, considering all the wet and poopy diapers she has, plus at 9 days old she was already 8 oz up from her birth weight.

You are so lucky. I have to wear breast pads 24/7 or I leak everywhere.

Some women just don't leak as much as others, I'd consider yourself lucky. I didn't leak too bad with 2 of the kids but with the other 3, I was Niagara Falls!

Mine didn't start til about day 5. Even now they dont leak alot. I thought I wasn't leaking at all until I went without a breast pad. WRONG!

Mine started leaking during the second week so it may still be coming! Although I barely leaked at all with dd #1. I probably used 2 dozen pads on days we were coming off of growth spurts and that was it.
I think it depends on how sporadic or habitual of a nurser your baby is.
Fairfax has been rather sporadic. She nurses every 2-3 hours but it varies how much she wants each time. So I leak.

You're lucky! I leak like crazy...sometimes I fall asleep nursing Lilly and wake to find a completely soaked baby and matress. I was the same way with Eli until he was about 6 months old and then my boobs finally stopped leaking. I have to wear nursing pads all the time and even then still leak through them.

I wouldn't worry about supply though because my mother nursed 4 children and said she never leaked at all. Some women are just luckier then others. I also think maybe the size of your breasts plays into it some. I don't know for sure but I'm very small chested and it seems to me like my friends who are small chested also leak more( at least of the ones I've asked). Like us small busted women can make milk just as well but don't have as much room to store it maybe. IDK, just a thought.

With #1 I leaked alot and had to wear pads/bra 24/7 which was so uncomfy. With #2 it wasn't nearly as bad.

It might have to do with what you are wearing. If I wear a bra I leak a lot less, not at all, if I am braless I leak a lot more and since I am pumping and feeding I get fuller as feeding baby comes before pumping and him crying makes me leak more.

You are just super lucky!!!! My milk came in while I was at Evan's funeral and I leaked (well, more than leaked...it was like a constant stream) for a week straight before it FINALLY dried up!

I dont leak. The only time I ever leaked with DD was a few times in the middle of the night. I'd wake up to wet sheets and thought maybe she had spit up or something. So far nothing with DS. I get the tingely feeling every once in a while and have seen a drop come to the surface but not anything like "leakage".

You are lucky. I am still adapting to my breast right now. We had company today to see Ethan. Ethan started to cry and then all of a sudden my shirt was completely soaked...much to the amusement of my FIL lol

I am 5 days out and I have not leaked yet, although my milk has just come in today. I leaked a lot with Owen from the start, not at all this time and the weird thing is I am having more success getting pumped oz and with BF overall this time even though the leaking last time to me meant I had a lot of milk (NOT!). I hope I continue not to leak, but I am sure it is short-lived.
