If I go into labour..AGAIN... (had 2 stupid falsies..) I will NOT be able to push him out. Plain and simple. I haven't ate in 3 days or drunk more than a pint of fluid. I have NO ENERGY. Probably less hydrated from the amount i've cried. I can't even brush my teeth and I need to and WILL FORCE myself too soon because I have been bringing up blood and it tastes AWFUL!!!!!!!

Still.. The docs say i'll be fine until Tuesday.

If I were you I'd march my preggo butt up to that hossy, throw up some blood in the middle of their ER and DARE them to try and send me home!

If nothing else they need to admit you and get you on IV fluids! Dehydration lessens the amount of amniotic fluid and that's not good.....take care of yourself!! Screw those DRs

Honestly Brandi, they think they know better than you don't they? Not like I don't know my own body or anything. Nahhhh. They just keep taking the "oh stupid preggo girl wants her baby out now because she is overdue and impatient"

I am awestruck at the neglect. Down to the consultant writing I was happy to go with his plan. NO WE WEREN'T. Our exact wrods were "If you won't do anything, on your head be it, we have expressed our concerns, just prepare for the backlash if you're all wrong" I guess it doesn't help that I do have a little girlish demeanor, i'm tiny and just like a girl. Not the 23 year old that I am.

I can't believe he even wrote I have a different type of condition to the one I have. I scored it out and wrote above on my notes that the doc was wrong and I have the dif type. SURELY it's desperate times when you're writing your OWN ****** NOTES He wrote too.." Mum concerned and pushing for unnecessary induction" Well Mum nearly lost her womb, needed blood transfusions and my brother was only 36weeks along. Im edging to 41 and still ****** NOTHING

All the fat my poor baby boy has accumulated will be probably getting use to keep him alive in there just now, I'm certainly giving him NOTHING! In the words of my cousin...

"I don't see why they just don't get you in and get it done with, it's not like you have an early baby!!!"

The more I fight them, the more angry they are getting with me

I'm so depressed. I only felt THIS depressed when my other baby DID die

Good Idea. I might throw all the "specialists" to one side and go with my regular GP. See if she can get things moving. The ones who apparently know more than me know NOTHING.

Doctors will always think they know better than you...that's exactly what happened with me...I BEGGED for a cerclage at 18weeks....they told me it was "unnecessary" and that I was being paranoid....3 weeks later those SAME DOCTORS were in the room when I delivered Evan....their exact words, "don't worry, we'll stitch you up REAL GOOD next time"

Do what you have to do FOR YOU and that baby.....*** those moron doctors...you are OVER DUE....an induction is not UNNECESSARY at this point....a lot of things can go wrong after you pass your EDD...I'm not trying to scare you..but facts are facts....I hope and pray that someone LISTENS to you so you can get your LO here ASAP

KUP! you!

I hope you are able to get a different doctor today, you definitely need one. I'm mad for you. Some doctors are on power trips and don't seem to think they could ever be wrong.

I'm going to echo what all the other ladies are saying...you definitely need to get another Doctor involved. I think that sometimes Doctors get one way of thinking into their head and can't move past it. You need a fresh set of eyes on your file so that you can get things moving along. Your concerns are valid and a reasonable Doctor will see that even when your current one seems to be missing the mark completely.

I'm another high-risk momma that has gone overdue and I'm not particularly keen on how nonchalant everyone appears to be so I know exactly how you feel. I plan on going to my appointment tomorrow and making my feelings very well known so that we can make a plan to get this baby out.

I'll be thinking of you as you fight for your rights.

Oh Gemma -- I wish I could do something to make these quack doctors listen to you. I'm keeping you and Baby Jaden in my thoughts.

I know you have a back bone and you need to show them. You may be a new mama (soon to be) but it is your body and you know it better then anybody else. You don't need to be afraid to assert yourself and say "ok look I haven't been able to eat and drink for this amount of time and I know how very important that is for me right, not just for me but for the baby" and "It's time for some IV fluids,if you don't want to induce me now fine, but I know I need the fluids" and "If you won't help me with this then I want to see another doctor, now please".

I got angry in the hospital and it felt great to assert myself a couple times and take charge to get what I knew I needed. So I hope you can do that and feel better about the whole thing.

You know what? I didn't realize you had already lost a baby, first off.

I woul djust go to the hospital now...tell them you don't have a doctor...and you are there to have your baby. Explain your situation and see if there is someone there that will listen to you.

Wow, I'd be so upset if I were you and I'd definitely be calling around for a new doc tomorrow. I also like the idea of going in to the hospital for fluids! I was even drinking a ton of water a couple weeks before delivery and when I went in the hospital for an infection they said I was STILL dehydrated. Please KUP!!

I hate the way docs treat u like ur just some paranoid first time mom...I means yes I'm sure plenty of first time moms freak out over nothing but heeeellllooooo ur throwing up blood and have a condition that could cause danger for u and baby!!!

How dare they treat u like that...go to the hospital right now and demand treatment...they can't just turn u away...they have to at least check u and deal with the dehydration that. U must have by now!!! Maybe while ur there for that u can express ur other concerns and they will check u over!!

Just go in andd say ur overdue but can't eat or drink...are throwing up blood and feel dizzy and are seeing spots...possibly feel like ur about to pass out because ur dehydrated...they WILL see u!!!

KUP!!!!

Oh, Gemma, I'm worried about you, hun! First off, I'm sorry you are so miserably sick, and I am mad that the docs are acting like nothing is going on. You need to get someone to help you right away. Go to the hospital and demand treatment. KUP and good luck.

Brilliant, I have rehydration sachets. Don't have the bedspace..blah blah blah.

We are going to the docs tomorrow and sitting until she sees me.

Thankyou for all the support girls. I'll update you. Suppose that's the problem with the NHS. Unless your heart has actually stopped you aren't a priority

My Mum is concerned about how increasingly depressed I'm getting too... I know I'm going to have PPD and a pretty bad case of it.
