I had a bunch of friend over yesterday for a potluck. Man - it was annoying not being able to wear anything cute because nothing fits! My friend was telling me how happier I was when I was a size 3 and then we looked at pictures from that time. Totally gave me motivation. 10-15 min/day pilates in the morning (For my EDS), and 20-30 minutes cardio on my recumbent bike in the evenings. I'm on day 3 of cardio, and day 1 of pilates. Hopefully this helps!

Interesting fact my friend told me yesterday - odd sizes are for people with small to no hips, and even sizes are for people with hips. I told them I couldn't fit into my size 7's which was super depressing and they said no way was I a size 9 (I'm 124 lbs) and that I needed to move to even sizes for now.

I didn't know that about the odd and even sizes! Maybe that's why my pants never fit right, since I have a big butt and hips. I wore a size 9 before pregnancy, and I found it weird that size 8 fit just as well, if not better, along with size 10. Weird! Now I'll know how to shop a little better for my body. LOL. I hate saying size 9, though, even if that's what I wore at my skinniest. My hips just don't go down! My waist gets smaller and my stomach, but my butt and hips stay huge. It works for J. Lo, but I don't know about how I like it. LMAO

I cleaned out my closet and got rid of all the bigger clothes so that all is left are size 10's that fit well and size 8's that are snug. There are size 6 things in there to motivate me as well. We can do this!

I've gotta join you girls! I'm just getting back on the right track and seriously need some motivation! Although, Beth, I weighed 123 before I got pregnant and thought I was super skinny! How tall are you?? That sounds skinny to me!

I actually knew about the odd and even sizes. Odd are considered junior size, and even are considered misses...If you go to the juniors dept at a store - you will see only odd sizes. I have hips and a butt, but a small waist. I can wear a four and a six comfortably but a 5 - no way...BTW Beth - I wished I only weighed 124...I am with Lauren - how tall are you??

I'm 5'4 although my friends swear I'm 5'3. However, I have an abnormally small body frame and because of the EDS I have to be as low body weight as possible to not stress my lower joints. 110 looks good on me.

In the past three days I've done about an hour total on my bike and went approx. 16 miles I upped my miles per hour yesterday by half a mile, which is awesome.

I'm a little over 5'8" so that would be the difference. I don't have a super small frame, but it's definitely not large. I'd be happy in the 125-130 range. I've been going through pictures lately and I look so much better thinner. It has motivated me to get on the ball!

I knew that about that sizes also. I can wear misses but since I've had kids juniors don't fit at all anymore.

Yeah, I'm 5'7" and 125-130 is my best weight. I'm 142 now and I would feel great if I lost another 10-15 lbs.
