Ok, so I know Reid is only 8 days old. However, i'm really frustrated already. I have lost 11 pounds since he was born. That seems like NOTHING to me considering he was 8lbs 8oz. With Carter, I came home and lost about 20 in the first week or week and a half. This time I was less swollen going into delivery, but still! I gained 30 pounds during this pregnancy, so I was really hoping I would drop 20 right away like last time, and then only have 10 left to lose. I'm stuck in this awful point right now where I have NOTHING to wear, and I feel like i'm going to be fat forever because I don't drop weight while i'm breastfeeding, I just hold onto it until i'm done. SO not fair.

Sorry for the rant, and long rambling post. I just had to vent. UGHHHHHH.

I'm sorry Carrie. I know how it is with not losing while BFing. I was the same way with both my boys. You could still be losing some water weight, so hopefully it'll go down soon. Plus, have you been able to g to the bathroom normally yet? If not, maybe once things start moving again you'll drop more weight. Hang in there!

i KNOW how you feel - i've been stuck at this weight for 2 weeks - after loosing 30 i still have about 30 to go, and i'd feel better about it if i had even lost 1 or 2lbs the past 2 weeks but it's been nothing. sooo frustrating. i had to buy some clothes so i could go back to work tomorrow and look appropriate. Breastfeeding didn't work with Kaylee so i don't have that to help (although i know sometimes you hold onto weight too b/f) I FEEL your pain. hang in there - it WILL come off for both of it - we have to remember it took 9 1/2 months to do this to our bodies it takes time for it to go back. It takes most women awhile - we just see tons of women in the media that loose it all over freaking night.

Ohh I just started a post on PP bodies... I didn't see this.
I'm sorry you are holding onto the weight, I know it is sooo frustrating! I know this is hard to do, but try to remind yourself that there is time and you JUST had Reid about a week ago.

Now if I could only take my own advice....
