I need to loose weight, ideally i'de like to lose about 15-20 lbs by March....

Problem is, i admit it, i'm extremely lazy I dont know what to do, i dont know how to do this and keep it up when i loose motivation after a couple of weeks. Sigh.... this is more of just a vent i guess. I hate how i look and i dont want to be this way anymore! I used to be a skinny little thing when i first met dh Anyone in the same boat?

I was the same way...weight watchers has literally been my saving grace with losing weight. I have lost about 20 pounds in the last three months. It is very simple to follow and fairly inexpensive.

Hang in there! You can do it!!

I've definitely got a problem when it comes to exercise nowadays. I never used to, because I genuinely enjoy it, but with having Caleb now, I just can't bring myself to exercise during my only breaks while he's napping, when I could finally be catching up on reading, writing, or my art, kwim? I've had a lot more success with eating healthy, though, and I've been maintaining my restrictions for a few weeks now. I've lost about 10 lbs, but I know I could be losing more if I were just exercising. But we'll help to motivate you! That's what this board is for.

IMO, I think that investing in a treadmill or other gym machine would really help me, because then I'd be able to leave Caleb in the comfort of his own home (where he's the least fussy) and get some exercise time in. Maybe you could think of doing the same? =)

I've never been a skinny little thing like you, but I felt good about 25-30lbs lighter than I am now, and even then, I'm about a size 10-12. I've never been smaller than a 9. I'm not even trying to get ''skinny'' I accepted a long time ago that I'll never wear a size 6, and I'm ok with that, I just want to feel good about myself and have an easier time finding clothes that fit.

I rejoined the gym 6 weeks ago and I've lost 6lbs. BUT 3 of those were in the past week since I've started weight watchers. I don't do the meetings and weigh-ins, I just count the points on my own at home and weigh myself and then get mesured and weighed at the gym every 6 weeks. I had never tried WW before, but I must say it really is easy to follow if you're ready to make the changes in your diet. I'm sure you would lose a little on a program like that even if you didn't make it to the gym. I also find I have to go to the gym first thing in the morning, even before Didi gets up. I get up around 5:30-5:45 and get to the gym between 6 and 6:15 and work out until 7, get my coffee, and drive back home before DH leaves for work. It's tough getting up that early, but I'm a morning person and if I don't get a workout in as soon as I get up, then I'll either get too busy or be too tired to do it later on in the day. That's the only way for me to fit it in.

I'm sorry things haven't been going so well, but we'll be here to support you and try keep you motivated. We can do this!!!

My cousin is currently using this: Calorie Counter Database - Free Online Diet Program

It is very similar to weight watchers (we compare notes). She has lost some weight (she has thyroid issues).

I just bought the start up kit for 18$...that's it! I just follow it at home, I'm not the type to go to meetings Maybe a WW near you would sell the same kit? If they don't sell to non members, just try to find a friend who goes or something and ask them.
