Ok, how does it work with the # of views? I thought that it only showed as ONE view for each person, not for each time they viewed a thread. Am I wrong? Or is it one view per person per day?

I was looking at Shamrock Secrets and one of the threads has over 200 views? I don't think 200 people have the password, do they?

Just curious....I was always under the impression it only counted each person twice. Anybody know anything about that?

I am pretty sure it counts the number of times a thread is viewed, period. So if I go back and look at the same post 10 times, it counts as 10 views.

A post will get lots of views if it is something that people are checking for updates.

Ok, got it. Maybe it just doesn't count my views for me? Seems like it never changes no matter how many times I view something. Maybe it just counts everybody else Who knows? I was just curious, because I was trying to count 200 ladies in this PR and it wasn't happening!

Like Lori said I think it counts all views.... but it also only updates once in a while.

I'm pretty sure that Lori is right. However, I don't think the view count updates immediately. So, if you check a post and then go back and check it again, you may not see a difference in the view count right away.

I think it just shows how many people viewed it altogether - a lot of people go back and see what others have written and a lot of people just read but don't post. And I think it only updates every hour.
