on Andrew's arm, but now I think it may be ringworm. I just don't know! He has had this spot for 3 months - isn't that too long for ringworm? But, my other son has popped up with definite ringworm now that we started treating yesterday, and today Andrew's patch is darker and more defined around the edges, and he has some other light patches on his other arm, and a couple pink and rough patches on his face. Ugh, I have no idea. I don't want to start put anti-fungal cream on his face.

I called our ped. but they only have 1 doctor in today and are screening visits today through a medical advisor. They haven't called me back yet, but I bet this case won't make the cut to get in.

LOVELY thought that we may have fungal infections over here, huh? I have no idea where this could have come from, but the very last thing I want is for it to turn into thrush!

Ringworm is a perfectly round circle... I dont remember the pics being a circle.

You can try going to Walmart or Walgreens or CVS and buying Antifungal cream (Jockitch) cream....if its ringworm it will clear it right up!

Well, I heard from the ped. They want me to up his probiotics to twice a day and see if it helps. Since it is on his face they don't want me to put any cream there. (They said normally they recommend Lotrimin for it.) They said if it gets worse to make an appointment and there are some prescription creams that can be applied on infants' faces.

My DS#1 patches are pretty much perfectly round, and Andrew's initial patch is pretty circular. (I think it was someone else who posted ezcema pics, I haven't taken a pic of his.) But, when I googled facial ringworm pics they weren't nice and round - more patchy like what Andrew's face is. His is just much lighter than the ones I saw online.

This is actually comical. My IRL friends joke that we get all the skin diseases here - we've had virtually every rash virus at least once (HF&M has 6 strains and we've had 2 of them!) and now this. We don't get sick with flus and colds (knock on wood!) but if it's something to do with the skin, we get it!

Rylee has exzema, I dont think its flared up right now...(she hasnt asked for cream) but I will get the name of the cream, its an RX and the ONLY thing that works for her exzema. We v tried a handful of em.

Her exzema is somewhat round and very patchy too!
