OMG *LOL* WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO!?!?!?!?

I decided the best way for me to motivate my booty is to pay to workout. I was looking at the local community centres a couple weeks ago and found this class Buns, Tums, and Thighs and thought oooooh that sounds great and will work the areas I most want to tone. I go to the first class tonight expecting this nice, easy enough workout. Nope, it's like hardcore aerobics and toning. Ok, maybe I'm just way out of shape (still), but holy moly I was huffing and puffing and sweating like a mad woman. I had to walk down some stairs after leaving the class and my legs felt like wet noodles! I had to take a serious five to prevent myself from tumbling down the stairs LOL.

It's only once a week for 6 weeks, but if I want to have more strength each week and actually see results I have to do this at home too. But regardless of the pain I'm in now and the pain I foresee myself having tomorrow morning, I'm glad I signed up!!

Way to go you and I agree with Michelle I wish I had more time and money to do that!!! (I have my hubby for childcare ) LOL

Cannot wait to hear how it goes over next 6 weeks and hope you are not suffering too badly today!

That's great I want to join a class too!! I used to go to one before Jayden 3 times a week it was great. Make sure you stretch or work out today to keep those muscles going. The benefits in the end will be awesome!! Keep it up!!

You'll be bikini ready in no time !

That's awesome though. I'm the same way with my spin class, going back down the stairs, your legs feel like they have no muscle whatsoever...but it makes you feel good knowing you just got a great workout!

Good for you! Don't give up, and keep us updated on your progress!

I can't afford classes and I do not have childcare, but nothing is stopping me from putting him in the stroller and going for a walk, or walking on my treadmill after he goes to bed at night. I blame my lack of energy on my blood pressure meds but if I could force myself to work out, I know I would feel better and maybe eventually not need the pills anymore.

Thanks girls! I'm actually not in as much pain as I thought I would be haha

I like this class because it's from 7-8pm so dh can watch Rachel and it was actually only $30, so I thought meh I'll just do it!

I wish I had a treadmill at home here, but Rachel and I do go for walks pretty much every day, but the weather's starting to turn and soon it'll just be too cold to get out there.
