Just a place to post what we are doing to stay active each and every day! I love hearing what everyone is doing to get and stay fit. It's a great motivator and I might get inspired to try a new workout.



So I am trying to do at least 5 days of dedicated exercise a week.
Usually on Sunday I run but my jogging partner is a single mom this week while her husband goes and plays with the polar bears. So I have to modify this week's workout.

Monday - day 1 of the 30 day shred full out. No modifications.
Tuesday- jog 4 miles after bedtime ....alone. This will be hard since I run so much better with a friend.
Wednesday - walking date with a friend who has a baby 3 weeks older than Luke.
Thursday - shred or jog....we'll see
Friday - off
Weekend-?? I'll workout one day but not sure what I'll do yet. I really need another day of jogging.

Wow, Amanda!!! This is great. I've been logging everything in the c25k, even if it wasn't "related"...

So, this coming week I've also got commitment to 5 days, but I am not going to write which days I'm doing what because I need the flexibility in case I don't get to something and that ends up being my day off.

But, here's the goals (my new workout week starts Wed.):

3 days of c25k. hoping by that 3rd day, I'll be able to get through the week 1 workout without stopping (2nd week of trying) and then I can move to week 2. These MAY be on days: Thursday, one of the weekend days and then either Monday or Tuesday.

2-3 days of biking 10 miles, 30 minutes.

Adding in bicycle crunches, pushups, tricep bends and whatever daily challenges I can fit in, too.

May take walks with family this weekend, but it depends on the weather.

ALSO>..

up the water back to 100 oz
and make sure to take my vits

I was great with this all through pregnancy, and then I just dropped the ball...

Well I screwed my knee up on Monday with the 30 day shred and only made it worse yesterday and today with my walk and run. So i am taking the rest of the week off to rest it. I'll do pilates videos tomorrow and over the weekend.

I'm doing pretty well this week, starting small and actually getting my DH to workout with me. He hasnt worked out in years except for small walks around the neighborhood.

Monday, walked for 30 minutes.
Tuesday, off
Wed, walked for 30 minutes
Thurs, off
Fri, a class or more walking/jogging
Saturday, walking/jogging with the kids

We are going to higher a trainer next week to help with done weight training and to get us headed in the right direction again.
