Haha, Max does that, too! And it definitely isn't pleasant, but like you said, he doesn't seem to be uncomfortable or anything. Sometimes I think he does it when he's trying to work out some gas, and sometimes I think he's just stretching and moving around because...that's what he does all the time? Sorry I don't have a better reason for you, but I just wanted to reassure you that Charlotte's not the only one!

Leah nurses like this sometimes too. Drives me nuts because she clamps down on my nipple and stretches it way out when she does it and it HURTS! She also does it when she's trying to poop.

Ditto, Elaina does it just before pooping too. If she's not nursing when having a BM then she is screaming while doing it, if on the boob during, I pay for it but rather that then have her cry in pain I guess. Does anyone elses baby cry bloody murder before pooping or is Elaina the only one?

Rayne does it too but I think it's because she's gassy. For some reason though it doesn't hurt when she pulls on my boob.

I assumed I had fast letdown and he was trying to slow it down or struggling to keep up. I am starting to think he is gassy though. Big loud burps and projectile spit up. Must bring this back up to doc.

Yep! Rory is notorious for this. I posted about this awhile ago because I'm scared of what happens when she starts teething and pulling on me like that. Yikes! I find that she is most squirmy when she has gas or a bowel movement.

Baylen does this to. I try and prop my leg up so he's more into my boob and if he does arch back it's not as bad.

Ugh Silas is THE most wiggly eater, it drives me crazy. He constantly pulls off & on and grunts and flails around all over the place. I blame it on gas too, he has issues with it and I've started using gas drops before feedings to help.
