Today is day 8. We have our boys circumcised on this day because we believe God had a reason and science has backed it up. On day 8 the body's natural production of vitamin k goes way up. So here we are on day 8 getting ready to take him in. I hate this. I believe it is best for his long term well being and that of his wife. But I hate this day.

Even for those of us who are for circumcision, it is not an easy day for us to know our babies are going to go under the knife. Does your doctor use anesthesia (I hope!). That was one thing I made sure of for my boys. I also gave them Tylenol for those first few days home, just to take the edge off, probably more for me than for them...

Jacoby goes on Monday I can't even think about it at this point. Like you, I believe it is better long term, but that doesn't make it easy. Hugs to both of you!

Ok. It went great. He didn't even cry. They do use numbing stuff. And pack it real good after. He is sleeping well now. Day 8 isabig deal to us. Thanks for empathising with me. Best wishes for Monday!
