so I have been gone from the dieting scene for a long time. my start before didn't go so well, but now we are going to hawaii this winter and I am way too big to enjoy it.
I work really well when I get prizes for weight loss but i'm out of ideas. I want to lose 40-50 lbs total but I'm thinking I am going to do a small prize for each 5lbs or 10lbs and increase the prize the more I lose.
I need ideas though. i'm thinking a date night for maybe the 10lb mark. like dinner and a movie, don't worry i will be ordering broiled fish, it's my favorite meal at a certain restaurant.
i'm writing this quickly before I have to go to work so i hope it makes sense.
money wise I can spend a total of about $300
wow this makes me sound greedy but I totally am, I really like things and shopping.

How often do you get your hair done? Manicure/ pedicures? I use stuff like that for prizes. Also jewelry. I think it's much easier to focus on losing 10 pounds rather than 40 pounds you know? Just take it 10 pounds at a time.
I love that idea, and I use this same thing myself. Rewards for goals!! What I like are manicures, pedicures, a hair cut/color/style, dinner/movie nights, one makeup item from Sephora's, a new Kindle book, 10 new songs for your MP3 Player, a massage, a facial.
For BIG goals, like 20lbs. A new pair of jeans, or a whole outfit, a new purse or wallet, or pair of shoes!
