I gave DD ice cream at her brothers birthday party last weekend I wasn't going to, but she kept grabbing at my spoon so I gave her some... and she loved it!

Cloth diaper. I was pretty sure it would way too hard and difficult and I'm so glad I decided to try it out, because I love it.

There were a lot of things people told me "oh you wait and see what it's like once you have him" but honestly I haven't really caved on anything yet.

For lunch every day I feed him on the sofa or floor. I feed him out of the jar. Lazy for sure!

I let Ashlynn eat a cookie.
She managed to snag it from the TV stand, where her Auntie Kenzie left it earlier that day and I just let her eat it.
Then later on, gave her another so she'd let me do something (she was being really cranky)
She hasn't had any since, though.

Also Cloth diapering, co-sleeping.. Oh the list could go on for days.

Oh, can I confess again? LOL. I never thought I would let DD have a paci. Then the doctor told me about the risk of sids and how a paci could reduce the risk, so I gave in and said it would only be until she turned 4 months and the risk was a lot lower. She is 10 months old, and still has it. Only at nap and bed times though.

A pacifier. I don't care if he sucked his thumbs but I really didn't want him to use a paci (no real reason just didnt want to keep track of them) and when Ryan's dr & GI dr said it was a good idea to help reflux I caved. Now we are at 10mo and still using it (reflux is still a problem but no where near what it was)

Not really anything other than letting her sleep with us for part of the night when she wakes up...

I swore I wouldn't room-share, this was before we got pregnant. We did for five months, and I cried when we put him in his own room. I bawled.

I pretty much letft my options open haha. She ate a Pop-Tart yesterday. She took it from Hayley's table and looked at me and I said "Sure, go ahead!" and watched her. I was amazed that she did really well with it...otherwise, I obviously would have taken it away.

I let him have scrambled eggs today for dinner (it was breakfast dinner) He'll be a year old in 6 weeks I seriously doubt something will magically change on his first birthday suddenly making them safe.

Other than that, um....I thought swaddling blankets look like some kind of torture device but we pretty much kept Nolan swaddled all day and night at home the first two months lol (which we REALLY paid for when we tried to start putting him to bed unswaddled)

TV for sure. I keep it on alot during the day when I am home with them alone, just because I like the background noise. They don't seem to pay too much attention to it. But, they love their Baby Einstein DVD, which I admit I put on at least a few times a week because it keeps them happy and quiet so I can fix their dinner.

Use the TV for a babysitter and letting him have sugar. He regularly gets graham crackers and he has had quite a bit of his older brother's birthday cake in the past week.
