I know I haven't been posting in here much lately- actually in a long time!
I was doing WW online again, but never got on there. Did really make a huge effort to watch portions and in the last several weeks have started a new rule at home that we have fish (healthy fish like salmon or fresh tuna) twice a week and try to do vegetarian at least once a week. Fish we have done easily, but the vegetarian hasn't been so easy- but I have been doing it at lunch.
Anyway as of today I am officially 26 pounds lighter than my PRE pregnancy weight with CJ!!! I still need to drop about 14-19 more pounds to be pre thyroid explosion, but I'm getting there!! And I'm back in a healthy BMI range!
Bragging because although DH notices and comments all the time about me slimming down, no one else seems to notice. My MIL even made a comment when DH told her he bought me a really nice set of knives for Christmas because I love to cook- that my love of cooking was the reason for the weight. Drives me crazy because she know about the thyroid issue as we have talked so many times about it because she has Hashimotos too! Plus I love to cook, but I cook healthy food.
I'm not buying new clothes, so that probbaly isn't helping, I just keep tightening my belt. Just no body seems to notice around here.
Good for you, Sam! You deserve to brag, you've earned it! and screw your MIL! I do think if you dressed in more form-fitting clothing it would be more obvious, and maybe some others don't want to compliment you because they don't want to imply you NEEDED to lose the weight or something... but either way, you've gone grerat & its a huge accomplishment! feel proud & keep it up! (or off!)
