I decided to try making some applesauce for Abri on a whim to see if she would eat some textured food. Every other time she would gag and spit it all out. So I got some tasty honey crisp apples, steamed one and blended it. She loved it! No gagging whatsoever. Then I decided to be brave and cut up a puff on her high chair tray. After several nights of not sleeping and pinching me, I'd say she has her pincer grasp down. At first she kinda just played with the puff pieces, but then one made it into her mouth. No gagging! She let it sit on her tongue until it was soft and then she swallowed it and went for another piece. We're making progress on this eating thing!
