Ok, ok... So I did the shred for a bit, and then the holidays hit

BUT...

I can't do the jumping jacks because my boobs literally hit me in the face and knock me out. Is it important that they be jumping jacks, or can I do something like March in place, or get a block and do steps or something else? I hate that my boobs are still huge, but Kellen loves them and they better get smaller when we're done BF, because otherwise, they will be down to my knees (no kidding!)

Great job Julie!

Gwynne lol You are too funny. I totally believe you though. I don't have huge boobs and if I forget to throw a good sports bra on first and attempt this in my nursing bra, they are just out of control. I realize my mistake as soon as I hit the jumping jacks. As for the jumping jacks, I think it is just important that it be cardio and keep your heart rate up. I think you could substitute any of the other cardio they do (jump rope, punches, butt kicks) or just simply jog in place or something like that. So glad to hear you are doing this. KUP!

Great job Julie We both started Shred around the same time, so we can keep each other accountable

LOL Gwynne! My boobs get out of control too My problem is that when I do them after a while they start to hurt from bouncing so much! Wow, TMI?!
I do them for as long as I can and when it starts to bother me, I switch to butt kicks!
THe important thing is that you keep your HR up!

Did my shred for today. Day 4 I guess, losing track a little. Anyway today was pretty good. I did them while Avery was home though so there were a couple breaks for "Get out of that Avery", "Put that down Sweetie!" lol. Otherwise it was good. Still can't do the entire set of pushups but I am able to do more than when I started.

You do yours yet today Kelli!?

Oooh... I have an idea! I'm going to do this tonight when DH comes home... and instead of getting wacked in the face by "the girls" I'll get on my stationary bike for the "jumping jacks" piece (or anything else that would cause them to get out of control), and put it higher resistance and ride like the wind... it's only a short time. AND, I may do some arm stuff at the same time, mimicking the arm piece for the jumping jacks. That would be do-able.

God.

I remember when I played ball, I felt sorry for the girls with the the big bouncing balloons on their chest. Now, I'm one of them! Ug.

Okay I did the elliptical for 40 minutes this afternoon and just did my shred now. It is getting easier but I still hate the pushups. And I am doing them on my knees and still can't do both sets.

How did today go Kelli? Tanya, Julie where you guys at? Saw you on Lose it today Gwynne, great job!!

I did day 4 of the 30 day shred yesterday and the push ups are still killing me too, but it is getting easier. I plan on doing day 5 today. I will check back in.

HOw'd it go yesterday Julie? You get a chance to get the shred in?

I didn't do the Shred yesterday. DH had me do a 25 minute fit test for something called Beach Body Insanity. Well I did that in the morning and was too sore/tired to do anything else the rest of the day. I did okay with my calories and my water though. This morning I did 25 minutes of a Beach Body Insanity workout (I should mention it was a 45 minute workout and I quit at the 25 minute mark). I just now finished 25 minutes on the elliptical and I am still *hoping* to do the 30 day Shred tonight. No promises though.

How are the rest of you doing? Check in when you can ladies!

I started weight watchers on the 1st adn the shred on the 8th after 17 days dieting and 10 days of shred i am down ten pounds. So it is working.

Gwynn if the girl get too out of control o just do the bottom half of the jumping jacks and use my arms to hold my boobs daown.

Scarlett does the shred with me, she is so darling doing it too.

I did the Shred again last night and I did it all without any breaks for the first time ever. EVEN THE PUSHUPS! I am sore today though. lol!

I'm on day 7 and it's a lot easier. My hubby was saying it looked easy so I challenged him to do it with me and he changed his mind plus he pulled a muscle. I couldn't stop laughing....poor thing.

I felt tons better after having a GREAT nights sleep! So I woke up and got my workout in before E woke up!

This is day 4 for me on level 1. My endurance is tons better. Still hate the push-ups!

P.s. My hubby thought the same thing and did it with me using 20 lbs weights He HARDLY made it through circuit 1!

I did day 8 this morning and it's much much easier. Just 2 more days and I will be on level 2.
