I figured I would make an accountability thread for anyone else who is doing Jillian Michaels's 30 Day Shred! I will be checking in here daily... and if I don't SOMEONE should yell at me

I hope to see progress and a smaller me in the end!

So come on ladies, who's with me?!?

Day 1 Level 1 Complete!

This morning I did my first day and I completed level 1.
I'm going to be honest, it was brutal and a lot harder than I expected! But what should I expect after doing next to nothing for almost a year! I can't believe I haven't worked out in a year!

I used 10 lb weights and some of the strength training was to hard to do with such heavy weights, so I put them down and carried out the motions.

I'm proud of myself because I NEVER took a break even though I wanted to!
I hope this gets easier the more I do it!

I am in!! I did it Day One level One 2 days ago and it is hard. I only used 5 lbs weights for my first time. The only breaks I took were doing the push ups. I find them so hard. I am going to try and do this again this afternoon.

Holy smokes! 10 pounds is super heavy! I use 5 pounds and sometimes only 2 pounds for some of the exercises. I hope to see some results too. I'm rotating between that, her yoga DVD, and her Kettle Bell workout. Plus I try to do at least 15 mins of fast running on the treadmill everyday.

A girl friend of mine posted some pics of her son's birthday party on facebook - which I also attended. Seeing the pictures of me made me so sad and so motivated. Whenever I'm feeling like don't want to work out I look at those pics and it makes me do it.

Today will be my fourth day of doing it.

I totally can't do all the push up's. Even doing them "girl" style I can maybe do 10!!

I am on day 3 I am glad you all think it is brutal as I was feeling bad that it kicked my butt and I am so sore... It is taking some serios rewards other than weight loss to get me doing it. I get $1 towards scrappy stuff for each day I work out.

I'm glad I'm not alone here!!! I need people to keep me motivated! Lets check in every day that we do it!

And BTW 10 lb weights were NOT my choice! We only have 10lb and 20lb weights in the house I think tomorrow I will be using 2 gallon jugs of milk for the weights! Haha!

And I also have a hard time with push up... I did the modified version!

My legs are KILLING me today!

I'm glad you guys are doing this!! I need people to help keep me motivated too! I ordered this yesterday so I will start as soon as I get it and I will check in here!

Okay so I did Day 2 today. Still level one. Man I am sore. I also did the eliptical today. I am going to try and do this every day for a while though, at least until I get stronger.

Way to go!! I have 30 shred on OnDemand and it is very hard! I am always sore after the workouts. It targets all different muscles than what I normally use. Love it!

^^ Uh yeah. I am taking today as my day off because I can hardly move! I guess doing that after doing NOTHING can take its toll! If my muscles loosen up by tonight, I might do it tonight. But I can hardly get up from the couch!!!

I tried today but I woke up sooo sick I just couldn't get through it. I got to the end of the 2nd circuit but even that was with lots of breaks. Then I just couldn't do it and crashed for a nap. I hear you on the sore body too.

I missed Monday, but I did the Yoga workout today. It's so hard too though!!! Tomorrow I will be back to the shred video!

I did my second day of level 1 today. I used my big shampoo and conditioner for weights since my arms were still sore! My legs were sore too though

The only thing I took a break on was push ups - when I got to the point that I could hardly push myself up! Lol!

It was hard again and at this point I feel like I'm going to be on level 1 forever!

I didn't do anything yesterday. Still sick but not an excuse. I am going to retry Day 3 today but no sure when. Might have to wait until DH comes home. I feel like I am going to be on level 1 forever too.

I watched all her videos before buying the shred and the other ones seemed much more difficult. I am dying from a toothache but I am on day six in a row. I have to do it early in the day or I just won't do it. My DH does it when he gets home. I remeber now I wanted to make a ticker...

Completed Day 3 of Level 1
Ugh I just finished and am about to jump in the shower! Was a tiny bit easier today, but those push ups still kill me!
I'm so glad I finished it because I was SO unmotivated today! And honestly I probably wouldn't have done it if I hadn't told Jen I would txt her when I was starting mine So yay for accountability!

So glad I could help Kelli!

I had an awesome day. I did 40 minutes on the elliptical this morning and did the shred once this afternoon and once this evening. I really just wanted to do a lot today since Hudson was sleeping and I have done NOTHING the last 2 days (have been sick). Now I am eating ice cream! Lol, a skinny cow ice cream sandwich but still.

I even had Avery doing it with me tonight. She is 3 and did the jumping jacks and stuff with me and then wanted to do the strength stuff like mommy so she grabbed 2 empty water bottles and did the exercises. So cute!

I completed day 3 of level 1 today and it's getting a little bit easier, but still tough!
I agree with you Kelli, the push ups are the hardest for me too.
