I'm seriously getting to my wits end this week with my bub. She is just NEVER happy. The only thing that makes her happy is for me to hold her and stand. If I sit, she cries, if I try to rock her, she cries. If I put her on her play mat, she cries. And the same reaction for the swing, play pen, high chair etc... I cannot get ANYTHING done and now she has started waking up several times in the middle of the night wanting to be held. I really hope she grows out of this soon because I am about to lose my mind.

Yep! Aiden goes thru phases where he will be content alone for a few minutes at a time, but those are few and far between. Both of my boys have been like this (the first one worse than the second, though) and it drives me crazy! The only advice I can offer is that it DOES END!!

Sofia needs, or wants I should say, constant attention. If she's not getting it, she screams until she does. Luckily she doesn't want to be held all the time, it's just the attention she wants 24/7. Unfortunately, she's not an only child so there's no way possible for her to get it ALL the time.

Have you trieda wrap or carrier? Easy way to hold her and still be able to get things doe and have your hands free. Nina always falls asleep in hers.

I think I have every wrap out there - a Moby, a Bjorn, an Infantino and my latest - an Ergobaby. Akadia hates them all. She lasts a few minutes and then starts screaming like you are bending her arm backwards. Unfortunately, my back can't handle any of them either for long, so between the two of us it just hasn't worked out. I really wish I could carry her that way. It would be so much easier.

Yup yup yup - this is Dallas. She is such a high-needs baby it is ridiculous. Always needs attention and if she doesn't have it she whines until she gets it.

Rayanne is ok if I put her in her high chair or exersaucer or jumper as long as she can see me...as soon as I am out of sight, she gets very upset. She is also getting harder to get to nap.

Abigail is the same way. She wants and demands attention all day long. There are times when I need to get things done and I just let her fuss. I can tell it's not a hurting or hungry cry so I just let her fuss. We have been dealing with this for a few months now and I hear its supposed to get better so I hope it's soon for me and for you too!

Baylee isnt like that too bad during the day. Shes usually ok as long as she can see you! Or sometimes if she can see the boys playing, she is content. BUT at night she is a little terror and wakes up allll night long! Its killing me.
((hugs)) It sucks to deal with that during the day though. Not getting anything done! She was like that at first. My first was like that too! I could never get anything done. It does pass, but they never stop wanting constant attention!
