So Kerrington is a pro at feeding herself. We stopped buying baby food and all the ones I made are gone, SHe doesn't want anything to do with them. So my question is what foods can and can't she have? I know about honey and milk but can she have eggs, cheese whatever? I need help. Not sure if it was okay but I gave her hot dogs that where cooked well and cut up to bit sizes for her. We have been giving her foods that we eat and I haven't made anything special. She eats just what we eat spices and all.

We give Charlie whatever we eat, we've never started with one food at a time, we just waited until recently to begin trying him. He loves spice, lots of spice. Hot Chili and Hot and Sour soup is his favorites!

We give Violet anything except for straight milk and honey products. I've never limited her spices or anything like that and she loves spicy food already.

There's nothing that Kerrington doesn't like. She's just like her brother and DH and laso loves spice. We have never followed the one food at a time things with either kids and so far no reactions. I wanted to start giving her eggs as that's what we have for breakfast a lot but didn't know of she could have it. She's also a big fan of chicken and pork.

We give Jed everything...he has scrambled eggs all the time. I just make sure they are cooked good and not runny.

He loves biscuits, eggs, noodles, brocolli, everything!

I was wondering about this as well and am surprised by everyone's comments. I thought there were a bunch of things that you were supposed to wait on until 1 year so i'm confused... i always hear to wait on things like egg whites, pork, tomatoes, berries, chocolate, cow's milk, peanuts, etc. I've been nervous about giving Camden certain things but this makes me think maybe i should be more relaxed about it...

It used to be recommended to wait on high allergen foods (egg whites, berries, peanuts, etc) until after the 1st year. But the most recent recommendation and studies show that does not help reduce the rates of allergies and it's actually possibly more beneficial to give them before a year old.
