So I am once again try to do sleep training w/my princess. I've been getting more sleep but that's because I'm basically co-sleeping full time but that's just not practical. I want Ashlyn in her crib and it'd be nice if she didn't wake up every 3 hours
I know what to do and am going to start today but just wanted to know if I can start w/her nap (which she should be needing soon) or should I just do it at night? I really want to be able to put her in her crib when sleepy and have her put herself to sleep. I figured nap time would be good since I'm not half asleep and won't be more susceptible to giving in to her.
What happens if she falls asleep nursing? Does that undo what I'm working towards?
I guess I don't have advice either since Addisyn isn't BF anymore. She doesn't fall asleep and will drink her bottle until its gone. I put her paci in and lay her in her crib. Can you feed her in the same room as the crib so that it's only 1 step away so that you're not walking across your home to her room? I find that would wake Addisyn more if I fed her in the living room and walked back to her room.. she wouldn't go to sleep then and would whine to get out. Just be firm, you'll get through it. GL!
