Two weekends in a row, I went to work on a Fri/Sat night and came home to ALL the dishes washed dried and put away by DH! I don't ask him to do any house work since he works 60+hours outside of the house...but it was really sweet that he did it for me!
What have you done that was thoughtful?
Just before Christmas, me and the girls went to Wal Mart one morning and it was pretty chilly outside. I asked the older lady next to me if she was done with her shopping cart --that way I could use it and she wouldn't have to take it back. Well I loaded up the girls and as she drove away I realized she left her shopping list in the buggy--no big deal usually, but it was written on the back of one of her deposit slips. It had her name, address, DL # and account # on it. She was from Hamilton (where my DH is from--about 45 min away) so I asked his mom to take it to her house for me. Well I forgot to give it to her, so I wrote her a little letter telling her my name and when I found it and that I wanted to return it to her so no one would find it and have all of her info. She wrote me a very sweet letter thanking me-and how nice it was that I was so thoughtful to send it back to her. It really made me feel good!
