This is much like Kristin's topic on Aly not letting her put her down. Here's my take on what's happening for us.
Lauren has been one sick little girl for the past two weeks. RSV, bronchiolitis, croup, and an ear infection. She's been so pathetic that I've held and snuggled her most of each day, and spent the nights in a recliner so she could breathe.
She's better enough to the point that I am not constantly fearing that she'll stop breathing, but she still gets some NASTY coughing attacks at night that I want to be able to grab her immediately to help her out.
But, having her close to me all night is taking its toll. She HAS to be touching me. My face, arm, shoulder, b@@b, hair. I can't sleep with all her stroking. She's waking up every hour and then stroking one of the above body parts to help her get to sleep.
I don't know if there is any advice to be had on this, but I'm going crazy. She's like this during the day too, but wasn't before she got sick. I just need a LITTLE bit of space every couple of hours or so.
Have a cookie if you made it this far.

oh my goodness....you poor things...both of you. How is she feeling now??? I hope that you can try to nap when she naps. I know you have Marcus also so it must be tough/ I have no advice but to nap when she naps You must be such a comfort to her when she is feeling so terrible. I am sure there is light at the end of this tunnel though. I pray she gets better soon. HUGS !!!
