Mason started running a fever of 101 yesterday. He still has the fever but no other symptoms at all, well except that he's not sleeping well. Could it just be from teething? My other kids never had a fever with there teeth so I'm not sure. Any ideas?

ETA: he's at 102.3 now

Kolbie was running that and ended up with an ear infection. Same with Kaija. Other wise they just seemed like they had a cold. I never would have guessed they had ear infections. That's all I've got...

Some babies do run super high teething fevers though. I hope you figure it out!! Poor baby!!

I just can't decide if I should take him to the pediatric or not. I can take him tomorrow but Wednesday I can't. I have a class that I cannot miss. The professor is super strict so I have to be there.

Too bad he can't tell me what hurts

I would take him in. My pedi always wants to see kids under 2 with fevers over 102. Under that it can be teething or something else, but at 102 it is probably something he is fighting.

Lauren started her 3 week sicknesses the same way. I hope it isn't something serious.

If he still has a fever this morning when he wakes up we're definitely going to the pedi. He slept worse last night then he did Sunday night. I'm exhausted.
