Usually to keep kiddos hydrated when they have diarrhea or are throwing up a lot.

Yeah, it's pretty much Gatorade for babies minus all the sugar. You could try some Pediasure though if you think he might take that.

I've been told to only offer it if baby is throwing up everything and not keeping anything down, or having massive diarrhea. If they're just not eating much because they don't feel good then I wouldn't give it.

I gave it to Alayna when she had a fever and diarrhea. Last summer she got it a little if we were in the heat all day and I was worried about keeping her hydrated.

When karsyn was sick throwing up after every nursing session, my dr said to stop nursing for 24 hours and only give her Pedialyte. She would drink it and keep it down, then after 24 hours she could keep the milk down. Kinley has also drank it when she's had dihrrea or throwing up. Some are flavored and theres an unflavored one-Kinley preferred the flavored ones lol

We used it in between bottles when Brynn had diarrea, just to keep her hydrated.
