I just got an email about it this morning! Check their site for more info on what you can and can't trade in. There are also only certain brands the 25% off is good on. It's a great time to upgrade your carseat!

I got the email as well. I am thinking about trading in my travel system even though I'm all about saving ashlyn's stuff in case I have another. the fact of the matter is that I rarely use the stroller and it wasn't even the one I wanted so why not trade it in for something I definitely need now and IF I have another baby buy something new then.

If you arent planning another any time soon i think it makes sense! You can't hold on to carseats too long anyway bec/ they expire so i say go for it! i think if your trade in the carseat and stroller separately you might get two coupons.

Didn't know that they expired. I definitely have no plans to have another baby any time soon so I will have to make a trip to the store soon.

Well they typically expire in 5 or 6 years depending on the seat, not like its only 2 or 3 years but still.

I never really understood this....I mean, unless it's been in an accident, why would a perfectly good car seat "expire"? It really only has to do with all the changes in government regulations. If I put Aiden in a two-hundred dollar car seat for five months and then it sat in a closet, and I had another baby ten years later, you better believe I'm using it; why not?

I'm not entirely sure but i think its because over time the plastic weakens or something...

Exactly. The plastic can become brittle and it doesnt withstand the impact with near as much protection.

Ditto Mandy, if you store it in a place that gets too hot or too cold or too wet or too whatever it breaks down the plastic and padding.

Definitely take the carseat and stroller at different times though because you will get 2 coupons! Also, the coupons have to be used the same day you make your trade. Something to keep in mind.

Ugh! Go figure! Ive been waiting around for this for the past few months and the week after I buy Chase's new seat they have it. I'm secretly praying they don't include Britax so I can stop feeling so bad about it!

I don't think it does include Britax...I *think* I remember reading that on the flyer I got in the mail. So put your guilt away!!
