Stroller!

Fooled you!

Are our babies old enough for umbrella strollers now? I've never used one before but after riding the city bus for the first time today, I can see where having one might be a good idea!

We have one that we're going to use for the first time when we go on our trip. We got it to use in the airport and stuff that way if it gets damaged on the plane its not his "nice" one. I stil lreally like the one we got with our travel system so i'll probably use that for the most part but this one is nice also!

We've used one for Cade a lot like ever since he could sit up supported (never for very long before back then though).

We have a Jeep one and it's a little more sturdy than a cheap one might be. We didn't use the travel system one much because it doesn't fit in my car. I usually used my Ergo and put Kaija in the stroller when necessary. But for walks to the park in the fall Kolbie would ride in the Jeep stroller and Kaija walked.

LOL! AMY!!!!! I just searched through four pages of umbrella posts looking for what you wrote!!!!! When I saw "Scroll down" I thought it meant scroll down under the umbrella! my mind is fried!!!!
Yes, we use an umbrella stroller sometimes. Mia does just fine in it. We just have the cheapie one or the freebie from TRU that we got for spending twenty five bucks there during a promo...the only drawback for me is that there isn't much storage room..infact none!

I did the same thing. LOL

I have one that I've been using with Mason for 2 months now. It's just a cheapy and I only use it around our house, to walk to Nana's and back that sort of thing.

I'm looking at getting one that's bigger with longer handles and a small storage basket. I think that would be perfect for us!

I almost did the same thing as Angela! But I stopped after the first page and came back. LOL.

Riding the public bus is the reason why I got an umbrella stroller, and it definitely made a huge difference! It wasn't embarrassing lugging on that huge travel stroller anymore! LoL

It's also nice to just put that in the back seat and pull it out for the mall. Soooo much lighter and easier. The only thing I miss when we're in the mall and I don't have my travel system stroller is the cup holders. LOL

We don't have a true umbrella stroller, just a more lightweight stroller. We have the Combi Flare because one of DH's sisters got it for Lily when she was a baby and we're still using it for Violet sometimes. Vi's starting to want to walk wherever we go though, so she's refusing the stroller a lot.

Here's a pic of the one we have (different color tho):

Haha The best part about this post is that I fooled you all.

Thanks for the advice! I looked for one today but they were sold out of the cheaper one I wanted. I did see the Jeep one though and like it a lot. However, having a full size, I didn't want to spend the extra cash. I probably won't use it much at all, just when we go places that my big one won't fit. I have a mini van so if we're driving, space isn't an issue. But days like yesterday when I had to use the bus because our van was in the shop...sucked! I carried Meghan half a mile, got on the bus, switched buses, got off, crossed a four lane highway and walked another half a mile. It was AWFUL!

Ha ha! That was so funny - you totally fooled me! I have one that is similar to Shelley's but it is Fisher price. So not a true umbrella stroller but much smaller than the travel system. It folds like the umbrella stroller. I use it if we are going somewhere quick.
