drink at least 64 oz of water per day
work out 3x/week
no fast food AT ALL
and I did it! I drank way more water than that eat day. I worked our 7x/week since we started doing P90X and I haven't had any fast food at all... not even a drink from starbucks or anything!
I'm really surprised how easy it was to stop eating so much fast food, especially since I was eating it at least 5 times per week before. I figured with that alone I should drop some weight, since I'm definitely eating better.
I've hardly lost any weight though. But I am working out over an hour a day and eating good... so I'm nto discouraged. I KNOW my clothes are fitting better, I KNOW I'm stronger and more energetic... and I know at some point, the scale will show my efforts. I read a lot on p90x forums and women don't usually lose in the beginning because they're putting on so much muscle... but the best results usually come around day 60, so I'm sticking with it.
I haven't done my 30 day pictures yet, but I hope when I do I can see some change. I know I can see very visible changes on DH, so hopefully that holds true for me too. My beginning pictures aren't pretty
Anyway, just wanted to say that even though I'm not super active in here, I'm still sticking with my plan.
This week I lost 2.8 pounds and was happy with that.
p90x is AWESOME. it kicks our butts but we feel SO good afterward. and obviously we have to modify alot of stuff too. like one workout is pretty much an hour of just chin/pull ups and different kinds of push-ups... so we use bands to simulate the pulls up (like they do on the dvd also) and then we do our push ups mostly on our knees. I really love it though. and I feel noticeably stronger and better. we're doing our 30 day pics (a little late, but we took our day 1 pics late lol) on thursday and I really hope I can see a difference... I know I can see a difference on ben.
