Has anyone taken these? We're WTTC but I figured being 38 it couldn't hurt me to start taking these now if they actually help. FertilityBlend: Optimize Reproductive Health - Home

Be careful if you're waiting! I took them both times - with Otis it took 2 months of taking them before I got pregnant, this time it was the month I started on them that I got pregnant.

I took all these ingredients separately (actually was cheaper to buy a prenatal that had the vits, L-Arginine since DH took it too, Vitex, etc... separately and take some stronger doses (based on research) than to buy the fertility blend)I think it helped, but I had higher estradiol levels, probably due to higher body fat (which I'm working on!) and I just turned 37 when we started all this and when we got preggo.

Here's what research shows for supplements:

Men:

Vitamin C: 1000 mg/day helps for healthier sperm & semen
Vitamin E: 400 IU
Selenium, 200 mg/day
Zinc, 15 mg
L Arginine 1000mg/day
Vit D, 2000+/day

Women:

Zinc, 15 mg
Iron 20+ mg/day
prenatal
Vit E 400 IU
Vit D, 2000+/day
Folic Acid 400+mg/day
Calcium 1200 mg/day
Manganese: 2mg/day
B-6: 50mg/day
EPO: 1200-3000 mg/day CD 1-Ovulation only
Green Tea
RRL Tea: CD 1-O
Vitex
Omegas

Yep.... I do all this.

But, my prenatals have a lot in them, and then I just supplement.

For both men and women: sperm is produced actually about 3 months before it's actually released, and eggs are chosen and developed about 110 days before they are released in ovulation, so it is important to start some sort of supplementation (whether doing the fertiliblend, fertiliaid or taking them all separate) 3-4 months ahead.

I just started all mine! (never stopped the prenatals)

Not doing Vitex because of BF. It's been known to really knock the supply down.

here's one site that explains why all this is important with fertility and talks about clinical trials of these vitamins and supplements, leading to pregnancy Vitamins For Fertility - Infertility
