Boy I haven't posted here in a while! Well I got my workout in last week, walked during the weekend since it was nice outside, and didn't workout last night b/c it was my anniversary:] This week is busy, I'll only get to the gym today and tomorrow, b/c thursday is my hubbys b-day, then off work on friday so I jog outside. Since I only have two days at the gym today i'll be doing upper body then tomorrow lower and running. Some day I'd like to get a jogging stroller so I can stick baby girl in there while hubby is at work and go for a jog with her, but now I have to wait for him to get off work on my days off of work. If you have any good suggestions for jogging strollers let me know:]

My running stroller is old...got it with baby #1 back in 2003, but it's an Instep 5K running stroller. I'm not sure they even make that model anymore , but I've been happy with the brand. It's a fixed wheel stroller and it's a pretty smooth ride for Caleb. He loves it, too! If Im using a stroller, I tend to use that one, even if I'm not running because it's so light and it just rides so much smoother.

Oh that's great to hear b/c I found an old Instep on craigs list this weekend and bought it. All I have to do is wipe it down a little and fill up the tires then we're good to go!

Had a great holiday weekend:] Last week I only went to the gym once and did a full body workout. I decided to take some time off last week. I haven't taken time off since I started back to work in December so it was long over due! It gets exhausting going from work, gym, home to get baby ready for bed, eat dinner, get myself ready for the next day, then hit the sack. Not a lot of down time during the week, so I took a step back. This weekend I did some abs and jogging. This week it's back on the band wagon and to the gym.

Went to the gym on Wednesday and did 20mins on the elliptical and legs:

hip abductor 1x12x120, 2x12x130
hip adductor 1x12x120, 1x12x130, 1x12x140
seating leg curl 1x12x60, 2x12x70
" " leg extension 3x12x40
" " calf raises 3x12x90
dumbbell lunges 3x12x30
" " standing calf raises 3x12x40

Yesterday I planned on going to the gym but worked late so had to go home right afterwards and get my baby girl ready for bed. So afterwards I took the dog for a 20min jog around the neighborhood. Tonight I'm going to visit a friend so my jog might not happen, but it will tomorrow. Some exciting news we're picking up a puppy tomorrow!!! So happy and probably out of my mind getting a puppy now, but since our other dog died a couple of months back we wanted another one. Plus I think it'll be nice raising the puppy around a baby so we can train him how to act.

For the last couple of months my workouts have focused more on weights than cardio, but starting next week I'm switching my workouts up a little and I will start biking into work. My rides are roughly about 20miles round trip, and I still plan on weight training 2-3x a week.

Happy Monday morning everyone! It's going to be super hot here today, but I decided to ride my bike into work today. So I'll be logging in 20miles on the bike, and b/c of the heat I'll skip the gym and do ab work at home. I love being able to ride my bike into work, especailly since I sit all day long, makes me feel so much better:] This last weekend I walked about 30mins each day.

The game plan for this week is to get in more cardio, and doing resistance training at home with the stretchy bands.

Happy hump day everyone! Only two more days of work thank goodness! So yesterday and today I rode my bike again to work so another 20miles each day:] I think with the combo of heat and miles I've burned enough calories. My game plan for tomorrow is to go back to the gym and work my upper body and work lower body friday, along with running each day.

Went to the gym last night and worked upper body and felt great to be back in the gym:] I used dumbbelss with all my exercises:

standing bicep curl 3x12x24
overhead extension 3x12x20
incline military press 3x12x24
incline flye 3x12x20
hammer curl 3x10x15
dips 3x10
standing row 3x10x20
machine lat close grip pull down 2x12x65, 1x10x70

Today I plan on doing lower body at the gym, but we'll see how the day goes. Baby girl has not been sleeping very well espcially last night I got about 4hrs of sleep, so I'm dragging today. I would love to get some sleep, and she normally gets up about 3-4x a night still. So last night I decided to try and see if she'd cry herself back to sleep. Well that didn't go so well. I let her fuss for about 25mins and couldn't take it anymore, so I feed her and put her back down. The books say that they should be able to go through the night without eating at 6months, but if I don't feed her at least twice, she gets so worked up crying that it's hard to calm her down. Plus I can only handle so much crying, I feel bad enough. But I know that since she needs help learning how to sleep through the night that she might have to cry a little bit, but maybe we're just not ready for it, I don't know its hard. So needless to say I don't get a lot of sleep, and run low on energy some days like today.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted my workouts. I had to go out of town for work for over a week:[ Ugh I hate traveling for work. But I'm glad to be back:] Last night I went to the gym and lift upper body, did 20mins on the elliptical, and a 30min walk. All weights were done with dumbbells.

standing overhead press 2x10x20, 1x8x24
lateral side raises 1x10x20, 2x8x16
incline military press 3x12x20
incline flye 3x10x20
standing row 3x8x20
standing back press 3x12x24
overhead extension 2x10x20, 1x12x20
kickbacks 1x12x12, 2x10x15
hammer curl 1x12x20, 2x24x8
bicep curl 3x10x24

Yesterday I felt kinda weak in the gym for lifting, but I guess that might happen after taking a week off from weights and only using resistance bands, maybe, I don't know. I re-evaluated my workouts and the goal that I want to reach. I'm wanting definition, and slim up my stomach. Besides the clean diet part, I want to focus on gaining muscle, but at a very slow pace, gradually increasing my weights. This week I'll be creating my new workouts, which will include 1day of lower body, 1 day of upper body, and then a full body workout. I wanted to mix things up, I felt like I was doing the same weights.

went to the gym last night and worked mainly lower body but did some upper body work as well:

dumbbell stationary lunges 2x15x24, 2x15x30
" " backward lunges 2x15x24, 2x15x30
standing shoulder press 3x12x20, 1x10x24
bicep curl 2x12x20, 2x8x30
overhead extension 4x10x20
lateral side raises 4x8x16
plie squats 2x12x20, 2x10x25
hip adduction 1x12x 130, 1x12x140, 1x10x150
" " abduction 2x12x120, 1x12x130
seated leg press 2x12x120, 1x8x130

I only did 10mins of running on the treadmill, b/c after the weight training my legs were sooooo tired and jello like. So I wasn't able to go very far running wise. Tonight I'm hope to do some chest and back weights, and mainly cardio tonight. This weekend it's suppose to be decent out, so I plan on getting some running in.

Monday: I took the jogging stroller out for the first time and ran 20mins and let me tell ya it's a lot harder running with a jogging stroller than what I thought it was going to be.
Tuesday: Took the jogging stroller out again and ran 25mins:] did 3 sets of 15 lunges, 3 sets of 15 squats, and worked abs.

Today I'm going to the gym and working upper body, and since it's nice outside I'm not sure if I'll just go for another jog or do the elliptical inside.

Went to the gym last night and worked up body, then went back home and took the baby and dogs for a walk.

incline dumbbell flye 2x12x24, 1x10x30
one arm bend over row 1x12x15, 2x12x20
military press 2x12x24, 1x10x30
machine row 2x12x50
machine military press 2x12x30
one arm hammer curl 2x10x15, 1x8x20
dumbbell bicep curl 1x12x24, 2x10x30
dip 3x10
isolated tricep extension 3x12x8
shoulder press dumbbells 2x12x24, 1x10x30
lateral side raises 3x10x16

Today I rode my bike to work so that'll be 20miles, and no weights today, but I'll go home and do abs.

boy I haven't posted on here in a while! The last week n half has been very busy. Sometimes it gets so tiring and frustrating how busy we get and how things just pop up sometimes that make it hard to workout, especially late in the day. I've only made it to the gym 3x but was able to get full body workouts in with weights, and I've been running outside 4days a week. I think I've fallen off the band wagon a little, but getting back on this week.

Today and tomorrow I plan on going to the gym and doing weights/abs, and wed, thursday I'm riding my bike to work, and friday will be a run outside is my tentative game plan. I got a better jogging stroller last weekend so now I don't mind putting her in the stroller and jogging outside. Since I've been jogging more I need to find a new route thats a little longer than my previous one. Currently jogging for 25mins and looking to add an additional 5mins this week.

I didn't make it to the gym yesterday b/c we lost power at home. For some reason our whole block did for about 5hrs yesterday, so I had to pick my baby girl up from daycare and we all went on a walk. Today I rode my bike in, so logging 20miles today:]
