Yah the spouts inside are identical, there is just an extra layer and it does keep them much more cold. But, we have about 14 of the cups like yours for regular use. Use the big insulators when we leave so the drink stays cold. The playtex sippies are the only kind we ever used with my older kids, they are the best!
but she has started teething on the spout so i have to get her new ones but will not be getting the handle ones I'll go w/ the hard spout this time.
