This is a recipe I got from my 5 ingredients, 15 minutes weight watchers cookbook - so its pretty simple. This is based off the old points system, for anyone who is actually doing weight watchers. Its pretty filling, and I make some alterations.

Weight Watchers Deep Dish Pizza Casserole

* 1 pound ground round
* 1 (15 ounce) can chunky Italian-style tomato sauce
* Cooking spray
* 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
* 1˝ cups (6 ounces) preshredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 425°.

Cook meat in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring until it crumbles. Drain, if necessary, and return to skillet. Add tomato sauce, and cook until heated.

While meat cooks, coat a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll pizza crust dough, and press into bottom and halfway up sides of the baking dish. Top the pizza crust with meat mixture.

Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 12 minutes. Top with cheese, and bake 5 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese melts. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Yield: 6 servings. Each serving is 6 Weight Watcher's points.

*I always add whatever 0 point veggies I have on hand such as mushrooms, onions & peppers. --
you can add anything you want to it, but the recipe is simplistic because the cookbook was supposed to be for recipes w/ only 5 ingredients

If you try it... please take a picture to share & give us your review!

Its hamburger meat. You can use whatever kind of meat, but the leaner it is the less greasy.

Also, whenever we aren't doing weight watchers I normally use more cheese than listed in the recipe. I also love it with black olives too, which I didn't use in the photo example

Hey, if you're not doing WW then add whatever the heck you want! If you are doing WW, just count the points in what you add and then divide it by 6 (the serving size)

Made it tonight! I didn't have any chunky sauce so I used regular. Next time I would use the chunky though, because it was a little watery. Or I might just do 2 cans of diced tomatoes and 1 small can of tomato sauce and cook it together.

I put fresh garlic on the crust before I added the meat/sauce. Then I put onion and green bell pepper on top. I might try pineapple one time too

It was yummy! And in my points for the day

Sorry for the cellphone pic....

Here's my WW portion. It was huge! And I served it with a side of cauliflower for 0 added points:

OMG this recipe was so good. I will be making it again!

I added green peppers and onions on top. In the meat mixture I added Rotel Tomatoes and chiles to give it a little kick. I also used what we had in the house already so it was with pizza sauce and regular cheese. We all loved it and Shaun and I have leftovers for lunch today. I can't wait. We had it with a side salad.

I've been aiming to put them up on Sunday for people who shop then but I forgot... haha. I don't care if someone makes it several weeks later and just bumps the thread back so long as I can see a picture!

Also ladies... send me YOUR recipes and pics

I made the taco soup on Saturday. It was really good. I added some seasoning to the chicken since it wasn't mentioned but it was very tasty. I think next time I will add more veggies and omit the chicken. I I don't remember seeing what it was supposed to look like but here's a pic
