Hahaha I was just wondering how it was going? I have the same problem. I have been off the wagon for about 2 months.
Mark goes to Germany in June so I am going to try and get back into the groove of eating better then.
Before you leaped off the wagon had you seen any weight loss?
*Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy!
We should sticky an accountability thread... for people who want to be checked in on!
Elizabeth I'd lost ten pounds. That was in my 'cycle 1' of the 17 day diet with a couple 'break' days for our anniversary and Easter where I cheated. I've gained b ack 1.5 so that's not too bad considering I've been eating TERRIBLY.
I am back on board today and SIL started today AND joined my gym so that's good news for me. My mom is following this diet but she is 119 pounds so she's not losing big numbers a nd doesn't have much to lose anyway. DH is eating well and continues to lose but he's not a good motivator for me b/c he loses so much with hardly any effort... men! pfft! so SIL is lazy like me and loves to eat like me, and the same age range so I feel like we should lose at the same pace. I'm a really cocmpetitive person, so even though this isn't a competition, I know in my head I will be less likely to screw up if I know she'll be losing more than me
before leaving for the airport I had a pizza buffet here. then we had dominos when we landed b/c lily was sleeping. lunch the next day was... food court at navy pier, I had chinese food. I made cheesy chicken enchiladas for dinner b/c it was cinco de mayo. the next day i had a burger and fries at the zoo and we ate dinner at portillos and i had an italian beef. then saturday before we left we went to the cheesecake factory.
so nothing very 'chicago' like pizza, except portillos I guess. I prefer NY style pizza to chicago's deep dish, which to me is just a casserole. good, but not 'pizza' haha
oh and that was just the trip... we came back saturday and I kept eating bad til wednesday. haha
drools at the thought of portillo's.........you cannot get a good italian beef sandwich out here. and i love love love the cheesecake factory, we don't have one of those either. i also do not especially care for "chicago" style pizza....although i don't normally turn any pizza down.
