I have been looking up different things to make for Kylan's party (fire truck theme)....manily cake decorating ideas. I came across this mold pan that I think is cute, but I have no idea what you make in it. All I keep thinking of is a jello mold! Anyway, here is the link to it:

CakeArt Party Store : Item Number: 90-14614,1.75" Fire Truck Mold

Would I make candies, little cakes???

It looks like it's plastic, so probably wouldn't withstand the oven so I don't think little cakes. But if it's not plastic or if it's oven safe, little cakes would be adorable. Candies would work. Melt up some chocolate, pour in and let set. If you can get some different colored candy melts you could make different colors (or even white melts and add your own coloring). You could probably use it to make a molded fondant shape (push fondant into the spaces like play dough and unmold).

Jello comes to mind too - jigglers maybe in different colors. Ice cubes for punch would probably work as well.

Super cute!

To the Amazing Kelly: Thank you once again!! Amazing only begins to cover it.

I can't get the link to open for me but if it's small, you could also melt old/broken crayons in the microwave (like in a glass measuring cup) and pour that into the molds to make little shaped crayons?

^^^I think that is a really cute idea and could also double as something for the kids to do at the party - not making them, but coloring with them lol

I was also going to suggest the ice cubes. if you are having rolls of any kind you could make butter pats. candies.
